Seated immediately upon arrival. Waitress (Hayden) was excellent. We had 1 person in the party that had never been there so Hayden went through everything on the menu along with some recommendations of every category. Drinks were very good. Food was delicious and service was perfect. We had ordered 2 desserts to split and another guy brought me some ice cream since he saw that I hadn’t had my own dessert. Food is a little pricey but quality and service is excellent. Will be absolutely be back but would come more often if it didn’t cost $200 for a party of 3. (1 appetizer, 3 drinks, 2 salmon, 1 pizza and 2 desserts) One complaint is that I’ve been 3 times and they have never had the 36 hour Pork Ribs or the Korean Style Ribeye Cap.

Tried the Asian salad for second time, serving wasn’t as large as first time but still good. I brought a 93 yr old friend.

Nicely diverse menu - we had Steak Frites, Chicken noodle soup, Brussel sprouts, and pretzel bites with cheese dip for an appetizer. The flavors were unique and delicious. We recommend each item we tried.

Service was VERY slow. It took 20 minutes to even get waters to the table before we ordered cocktails. The food and desserts were good, cocktails were very good as well.

Mine was a breakfast sandwich. Potatoes on the sandwich and potatoes on the plate.. The pizza was good but the paper on the bottom of the plate when moist makes it difficult to cut and eat

Great stop off en route to BHM before our long day of travels home. This was our first visit to this location. We know the Culinary Dropout from prior experiences in the PhX area. Good was all delicious and we loved the non alcoholic drink options (after a long day prior cheering on a Bama win!). Don’t miss the deviled eggs if you drop by for brunch. Staff is exceptionally friendly and ample outdoors seating is a bonus!

I would describe Culinary Dropout as "ok", nothing great but nothing horrible either. There were 4 of us and we each ordered very different meals and we all had the same opinion..."ok but probably not worth the money". The service was quite good and attentive. Overall, I would classify CD as a bar with something slightly north of typical bar food.

steak frites all the way!! cocktails are so yummy and diverse. originally had reservations for date night but got sat at a table in the very back of the restaurant with a huge family group, so we abandoned those and opted to sit at the bar- great choice the bartenders were awesome. live music was really nice too!
