Bienvenue au CUCINA urbana, un restaurant de quartier italo-américain avec boutique de vin. Il vous accueille dans un cadre décontracté, au cœur de Bankers Hill. Son menu met en évidence les cuisines de différentes régions d'Italie agrémentées de sa fameuse touche californienne distincte à base de produits de la ferme à la table, qui a fait la réputation de l'Urban Kitchen Group. Le chef Joe Magnanelli est heureux de partager son héritage italien et de concocter des plats frais, simples et de saison, notamment des antipasti, des pizzas traditionnelles, des pâtes et des piatti. Vous pourrez déguster du vin au verre ou découvrir la boutique de vin et choisir une bouteille parmi plus de 100 références au prix de détail (un droit de bouchon de 8 USD s'applique). La salle arbore des éléments contemporains et des objets d'époque, donnant l'impression d'être dans une cuisine italienne moderne, combinés à l'histoire et au confort d'une ancienne ferme de campagne rustique.

Valet is $7 but we were able to find street parking for our 745pm reservation. FREE street parking. The restaurant is very young and vibrant but a little loud. There is a wine store in the restaurant and if you grab a wine there the corkage is only $10. $25 for outside wines. The food is actually well priced, but there were a few hiccups during our service. The rigatoni was very late and was on the hard side of al dente. It was fine, but borderline too hard. The food was good, the best thing was probably the pizza. Non alcoholic beverages were delicious. Service was good but could be just a little bit better. We appreciated the free dessert that was offered due to the lateness of our rigatoni bolognese. It was not as good as we expected of a michelin bib gourmand, but i wouldnt steer people away from this place.

Had a great meal at CUCINA Urbana. The Antipasti included scallops and carpaccio. Was not clear the scallops were ceviche, so a bit of a surprise, though they were good. Carpaccio was very good. Then the two of us had different pasta dishes and they were both excellent. Wine selection and service were also excellent!

Me and my husband ordered whole branzino, burger and Brussels sprouts. The fish was my favorite. It was very juicy, cooked perfectly and very yummy. I recommend this restaurant 100%.

Very nice dinner before the show at the Globe. The squash blossoms were outstanding and the stone fruit in salad was perfect. We had three different entrees. Red wine short rib pasta was just ok flavors didn't work as well together as other similar dishes we have had. Corn and goat cheese pasta was delicious with great flavoring. The serving was a bit small for pasta dish. Pizza with mushrooms was very good .We really liked flavor and crust. Desserts were good. The outstanding one was the yogurt and berry dish. Only down side to this dinning was that there were flies inside and it was very bothersome. Fly ended up in wine.

This place is our pre-theatre go to, and it’s always been reliably good. We enjoyed the grilled octopus appetizer, chopped salad, and the branzino and chicken entrees. Service was quick and very attentive.

Another wonderful experience. Food and service and ambiance are outstanding. We ordered the gazpacho soup and grilled optopus for appetizers and the branzino and an eggplant pasta dish to share. All great!

My husband and I had a wonderful experience. The server was friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. The food was amazing. I can’t stop thinking about the corn and goat cheese agnolotti and the limoncello mousse dessert.

A favorite restaurant of ours within walking distance of our abode. We are never disappointed. The pizza with fennel and sausage was delicious as was the beef carpaccio and the salad that could be a meal in itself full of lettuce, chickpeas, green beans, shaved almonds, and so much more. And the focaccio was warm and flavorful. The attentive waitress was knowledgeable about wine and food-- a true professional. My husband liked his Manhattan, and I was delightfully surprised by the Vermentino.
