Loved the anchovy appetizer. Very unique dish which you don’t see everywhere. I had the smoked roasted chicken. It was delicious, lightly spiced and moist. Our server was also very attentive.

Food was excellent but took almost 2 hours to arrive. In particular, salads and appetizers that don’t require much preparation arrived too late. Waiter was very nice and comped one of our salads and provided desert for free. Restaurant did their best to make up for how long food took to arrive.

We had excellent service and very good food at the restaurant. For us the challenge was that the noise level made it almost impossible for us to hear one another and the restaurant was busy but not packed so am guessing it can get super loud in there.

We had a lovely dinner with friends at Cucina Buca. Everything we ordered was delicious and beautifully presented except for one dish and that was the seafood risotto. It came literally floating in sauce and way too much olive oil. For a moment I thought I was served a soup rather than risotto. There were a few tiny pieces of chopped up shrimp, and aside from that it was hard to tell I was eating a seafood dish. It was very disappointing but we were in a hurry so I didn’t say anything as we did not have time for another entree to be prepared. As mentioned earlier the Nodini (bread knots), beat salad and flatbread pizzas that were ordered were delicious and the service was excellent. I also had an amazing spicy Paloma cocktail, but that risotto was a huge bomb! Despite that, I would still go back.

The restaurant has added pizza to their menu as well as a fabulous all beet salad. Lunch was really great.
