The pasta was perfect and the lamb secondi was delicious. Would not recommend the fish - it was red snapper that evening and preparation was greasy and not flavorful, especially for the price.

While the food was fantastic, and my partner and I thoroughly enjoyed it, we felt quite uncomfortable during our visit. We arrived for our reservation at 7:45, and the host looked at us as if she didn’t want us there. Our server was good but didn’t seem particularly attentive—after we told her we weren’t ready for drinks, she didn’t come back for another 20 minutes, it made us feel like we annoyed her. As someone who has been a server for 4 years I understand how it feels when a young couple is seated in your section, as there’s often concern about tipping. However, given the prices we were paying, we expected a level of service from the hosts and servers that matched the restaurant’s atmosphere and quality of food. As a server I take pride on being empathetic, kind, and attentive to the people that come by, so it is always a shame when the service I get is not the same I offer. We chose this place to celebrate our anniversary because of our love for good food and restaurants, but unfortunately, we likely won’t return for another date night. On a positive note, the person who bussed our table was incredibly kind and left a great impression!

We would have rated the food as excellent but for the dessert, a bread pudding that was rubbery in texture. The pasta dishes we selected were delicious, as was the beet salad.

My 4th time there. Food and service were great, as before. This, and Osteria Georgi in Chapel Hill are, the best Italian restaurants in the area, in my opinion.

The waiter was pleasant and appropriately attentive. We started off with the bruschetta roasted grape w cheese and burrata with honey and pistachios- crunchy and fun! The beet salad was fresh but a bit ho hum. The lasagna was delicious as was the truffle pasta. Food is very good, ambience is lacking.

This is a must try. Everything from start to finish was perfect. Staff, food and wine list all wonderful.

We loved this place! Wonderful food and drinks, and our server had incredible recommendations to us that were dynamite! Really liked the ambiance as well. Will definitely be back.
