Really lovely place to eat - me and my boyfriend's favourite for a quiet, intimate date night. Highly recommend!

Had lunch with a friend today. When we got our food mine was almost cold as if it had been standing around for a while. The food itself seemed ok but I couldn’t eat cold food. It was the venison pie, mad and veggies. I did not complain as the staff were very busy. The restaurant itself was very cold and draughty and I came away frozen and still hungry. Needless to say I will not be returning for another meal.

No matter how busy it is we are always there for our guests and when we asked, you said everything was OK and great, otherwise we would have replaced the items. Really good food but run out of eggs, mulled wine & guiness. Without background music this pub can sometimes be a little devoid of atmosphere. Music wasn’t playing when we arrived but was as we left. Stark lighting doesn’t add to atmosphere.

I absolutely love the Crystal Palace, it’s a real little gem! Service is awesome, super friendly team, very happy to chat & engage. The food is ridiculous, I love every item on the menu but it’s the Camembert wheel that I adore!! Can’t wait to go back!! Thank you.

I would return to the Crystal Palace in a heartbeat! Hits the balance of a gastropub excellently. The food is hearty but with a unique and tasty spin.. Spacing between tables means you know you’re not alone but you can hold a conversation… cozy… great beer and the staff are young, friendly and honest. A great evening
