The food was excellent however the service was not. I understand that it may have been impacted by a soccer event at TD Place. We had a dinner reservation for 5:30 and once we were seated we did not have any server appear until 15 minutes later with the comment that we weren’t seen. Our drink order then took another 10 minutes and when our food finally arrived one of our meals arrived 5 minutes after the others. Lesson learned; avoid when events are taking place at TD Place.

We had the stuffed garlic bread which is phenomenal. I had the mushroom ravioli which was delicious and my guest the blackened chicken which I regret not having because it was amazing. We did opt for desert and the tiramisu cheesecake was fantastic. We sat on the patio and had fun people watching and chatting it was a good time.

We went to the Landsdown restaurant and the service, food and ambience on the outside terrace was great. It was a little noisy because of the artisans playing music in the central area. But that is not the restaurant’s fault. Just to keep in mind depending on the experience you want being outside.

We ordered pizzas and pasta, the pizzas flavors were amazing, portions are great. Our waitress was very friendly. We will recommend Crust & Crate to our friends and family for sure

We were looking forward to dining at the restaurant in Landsdowne location after seeing the website, unfortunately our experience was nowhere near what the website portrayed.. The outdoor tables are made of concrete, and not treated with a top coat. As a result the tables were very dirty. When we brought this to the attention of our server, they acknowledged that the table was dirty but were unable to clean it sufficiently due to its surface. The pizza was sub par and nothing like the website picture. We wrote the establishment listing our bad experience, and a week later there is still not even an acknowledgement of our experience.

Went on a Friday evening at 7:30. Was busy, loud and understaffed. Were seated at least 10 minutes before a server came to the table. They were apologetic and acknowledged they were very busy. A lot of noise from the open kitchen. Too loud to talk without yelling across the table. Caesar salad was ‘meh’, pizza was good. There are better options at Lansdowne.

Food was good but the service was atrocious. We went given bad service but it seems they toss anyone on server without any experience.

Visited on a busy night as OTTAWA RED BLACKS, CFL Football Team was holding a Party for Season Ticket Holders to watch the CFL Entry Draft for the 2024 season. The service was exceptional given the crowd and noise level. We ordered a very good Chicken Nacho plate as a starter, knowing that Chicken Wings, Pizza and Fish Tacos were scheduled to be served compliments of the Red Blacks at a later time in the evening. The staff were very friendly and attentive. This looks like a great Pub Type Bistro and we will most definitely return.
