Cru is an adulting experience!!!! If you’re not a wine lover; the full experience cannot be fully realized. The ambience is warm and inviting. The food is delicious and perfectly portioned. Great value for your money. But the wine flights keep your noise guessing; you tongue intrigued and your palate engaged. I will return again and again!!

I wanted to love this place. The atmosphere is great. Wine selection is solid. Flights are a perfect touch. And the service was strong. If you’re going for drinks — highly recommend!! Just don’t show up hungry because the food was beyond disappointing. On paper, the menu read like a creative push on modern American cuisine. But the Caesar salad was wilted, frozen and watery. The pizza was fired to crunchy perfection but the margarita pizza was completely flavorless. Not a hint of garlic, basil or salt in sight. And their “fan favorite” wagyu meatballs were much of the same. Good texture but absolutely ZERO stars in the flavor department. Had it not been for the goat cheese beignets I would have left hungry as I had no interest in wasting calories on any other dish they put in front of me. Sadly, this won’t be our new date night spot.

The food is always amazing. The service was not. She was extremely forgetful and I'm not sure how she still has her job. I guess it's because she's nice? We would have loved to have had the scallops, but when we ordered them, she came back a few minutes later and told us they were out. Why tell us how good they are then?

The service was great, love the wine flights. The food was fine, but I wouldn’t call it special. The noise level was very high, it was hard for my friend and I to hear each other. She was a very big fan of the meatballs though!

The staff was busy, but were attentive and took their time in answering questions and helping us make our choices. The goat cheese beignets are delicious! We shared several small plates and 2 wine flights. Everything was delicious!

Ambiance was nice, food was good but small portions on our cheese board. For such a specific experience and at almost $200 for four, we expected better service. We ran out of water without refills several times, and the Chenin Blanc in my flight seemed to have gone rancid or otherwise seemed very off. I informed our waitress, knowing it could very well be a matter of opinion, and she smelled my glass and replied that it seemed fine without other suggestion or offer. For the cost, you could get better service, food, and ambiance elsewhere.

BJ was so kind. The foods just terrible though. Crab cake was thin and somehow burned and watery at the same time. Grilled cheese and soup were just as flavorless. Beignets and cocktails were good.

We love this place, but today, after several visits, we have to admit we were somewhat disappointed. The Ceasar salad was really not fresh and we told the waiter and manager. As new members we did get a Pizza basically for free, but the dow was mushy. Now, the wine selection which is their thing is actually very good and you have many choices to try throughout their wine flights. We will continue to go but we hope they don’t go the same way others do when they become too arrogant, thinking there is no alternative.
