Corner table near window. First Two guests seated promptly and initial drink service good. Seated at a table for 4 with 2 stools as seating, no chair with back. Tried to get waiters attention for drinks once second party arrived. 1 hour after being seated, finally got a waiter to take lunch order. No wait staff drink service in this time. Received some share plates in timely manner. Quality of food good. Appeared to be staff changeover, new staff serviced table. More attentive and asked if we would like our mains. Definitely was response as it was now 2 hours since we were seated to receiving main meal. Service staff need training. One waitstaff could not tell us detail on “special” or market fish as per menu. Very disappointing visit, service did not meet expectations

Dined with my partner and we both had the oyster and seafood pasta. The pasta was divine and 4 days on, we are still talking about it. The service was friendly and had really good knowledge and recommendations

Food was incredible. Wine list excellent. Fit out very good and a beautiful space to be in. Jason Matthews (ex-Harvey’s and rothwell’s) being back on the floor was the highlight for sure.

Our waitress who I think might have been the supervisor/manager from Birmingham was a pure delight and nothing was too much for her. I was entertaining from Sydney and she made our visit perfect. Can be a bit noisy but it was Friday afternoon and was told it’s they’re busiest day of the week. Food was delicious and came out quickly, bit pricey but if you’re looking for somewhere for a special occasion this place is on point!

The food and service were outstanding! I highly recommend 🤩 Steak - mouth watering, sides - perfect, drink selection- on point, wait staff and service - wonderful! Thank you cru!

Cru Bar is an essential part of Brisbane and arguably the most beautifully styled and decorated. The service is impeccable, the servers are well trained and knowledgeable. Wine list is enormous and wine lovers will be extremely happy. We shared tempura whiting, very tasty, but should’ve been de-boned. The duck pate was delicious but a tiny quenelle serving with a lot of brioche. The spatchcock was nice , but a bit dry and we thought overcooked. Brussel sprout side was excellent. Love how Cru Bar has extended itself into such an iconic destination.
