The Crow’s Nest Restaurant, Tavern and Marina has been serving the Venice, FL community since 1976. With the freshest seafood and most flavorful dishes, the Crow’s Nest strives to prides itself on providing 5-star experiences for their guests each and every time they visit.

The upstairs dining room provides a fine dining experience with a fantastic view of the water for lunch or dinner. The wood-paneled and cozy tavern downstairs serves for a more casual experience and is open all day.

You can also enjoy their full-service marina, offering overnight dockage, gas and diesel pumps, and all the supplies you need for a day or week on the water. You can also rent their paddleboat, one or two person kayaks, paddleboards, bicycles and more!

    Been here many times. Totally underwhelmed this time. Waitress was rushing us from the moment we sat down and was rather short as the mealvwent on. Our out of town guests were not impressed. First time this restaurant was a disappointment.

    Had grouper key west and a filet. Creative grouper presentation. Steak was overcooked but server noticed immediately and took it back for a replacement. Did not even ask…. Server Jonathan was exceptional; knew the menu and was present when needed. The Crow’s Nest has been around forever where you can expect consistent food. We will return because of reliability and service. For a more casual option, the lower level pub (no reservations) is also consistent with a regular local crowd .

    The service at this restaurant was outstanding. My husband had a sudden bout of indigestion just as the meal was delivered and at first the meal didn't taste good to him. But the waiter, Cody, offered to substitute another meal immediately but my husband didn't feel like anything. The waiter not only removed the charge for the meal from our bill, but also followed through with a complimentary dessert for us to bring home and share as it was our anniversary. Throughout the meal, Cody was attentive yet unobtrusive. We have rarely encountered such exemplary service.

    Location and ambience were wonderful. Great view of the water and of the sunset. Food was good and had lots of seafood choices on the menu.

    Had a great experience. Met friends that we had not seen for a while and the server let us drink our wine, service, food, and lettuce visit. We did not feel rushed at all, and we found the food to be delicious. A great meeting place for friends from the Tampa area and From the Fort Myers area. Thank you for a lovely afternoon.

    Overall, our experience was fabulous. However, as we consider everything, we gave a 4 for food due to the small portion of the calamari, which was labeled as a first starter. Other restaurants we dine at, Deep Lagoon, Shore, Sand Bar, give much larger portions for the same price. However, the grouper dish with 2 sides was plentiful and delicious. Lea was exceptional. And the bartender made a wonderful lemon drop martini.

    We had an exceptional time at the Crow’s Nest . Our waiter Steven was fantastic will definitely go there if we ever go back to Venice Beach again

    Great experience, no waiting (had reservation), but plenty of available tables. The cocktails by Liam were the best we have seen and consumed in a very long time. Request Liam’s expresso martini just grand. The food was wonderful only out done by the excellent knowledgeable service by Dustin. We will be back shortly.
