My experience at Crown Block was fantastic. The food was amazing, service was excellent, and the ambience was perfect. 10/10, highly recommend to anyone looking for an elevated experience (pun intended)

It was just okay for us. The service was a little slow. My steak ordered medium rare was bright pink inside. We mentioned my son wasn’t feeling well and we were going to eat real quick and leave and had to wait forever to ask for the check. The music they played in the restaurant was also very strange. Not a very pleasant environment. The quality of food was decent but for the price, it could have been better. I did appreciate the birthday card and dessert even though we ended up having to rush out.

We wife and I celebrated our 2nd wedding anniversary at Crown Block. We felt very cared for by all of the staff and Danny was a terrific and very knowledgeable server. Fantastic food and drinks and the view is unbeatable.

This restaurant has all the right elements: view, champagne check in, anniversary cards- but the service level and food quality behind those elements are missing. First, the hostess couldn’t take our addition of 1 to the reservation the night before (we had reservations for brunch the following morning). I was told I had to email the manager. I wasn’t sure if I should take the risk of waiting it out or find another place, but I decided to wait. I didn’t hear back until an hour prior to the reservation. Upon arrival, we were greeted with mimosas (a nice touch) but when I asked for champagne only the server was rude about it. The food and drinks were mediocre at best and the server (who wasn’t present to the point where I had to get up to find someone for salt and pepper) felt the need to chase after me so I could initial next to my tip since the writing wasn’t clear (it was a 20% tip). Disappointing.

The hostess at the base of the tower was unfriendly when 1 of my party was delayed. There were plenty of open tables yet she was reluctant to allow us to enter the elevator since one of us arrived late. The hostess & servers inside the restaurant were welcoming, however we were quite put off by the behavior of the basement hostess. Also, the brunch is over priced.

When I made the online reservation It was very specific with the dresscode but when I was in the place there were people in shorts, tshirts and sneakers even though they were"restricted" in the dresscode
