Started working here recently and Passed this pub often and wanted to try it , as looks nice. Wasnt disappointed. Even nicer on the inside. Booked lunch for valentines day. Good choice. Warm and cosy feel. Very welcoming environment and staff , lovely and friendly. Nothing to much trouble for them and with smiles . Looking forward to visiting again and enjoying a drink in the warm sunshine in there lovely looking beer garden. Thanks for a nice lunch . 5* plus

Good freshly cooked food and a menu with sufficient choices to satisfy the varied tastes of all the family. Our very friendly waitress gave us excellent service even though obviously very busy. The restaurant was a little lacking in ambience and one of the nearby tables was very noisy but still generally a good experience and we will definitely return.

The waitress was really nice and we loved place. The only down point this time was the waiting time for our food.

Heather was very welcoming, attentive and responsive without being intrusive. The platters themselves were very good: well-presented and good-sized portions of fresh and tasty food at very reasonable prices. A most enjoyable experience overall.
