Located in the beautiful village of Rosseau overlooking Lake Rosseau, Crossroads Restaurant provides the best dining experience in Muskoka. Owners Chef Richard and Julie Lalonde ensure our ingredients are carefully selected from the finest local sources, and our creative dishes are a true culinary experience. We pride ourselves on providing exceptional service and no detail is overlooked. Beautiful seasonal décor makes for a cozy atmosphere both inside the dining room and outside on our gorgeous patio.     I was so excited to eat here and the ambiance did not disappoint. The attention to detail is beautiful and magical. The service is friendly and delightful. The evening started strong with stunning cocktails and delicious tomatoes and fresh baked date bread. Where things went south were the entrees. The lamb was $74 for 4 ribs and it was cold. Rare is pink but not cold. The bone was still bloody and pearly white. I sent it back and they heated it a little but I wouldn’t recommend. There was no searing nor layering of delicious flavour. The beef tenderloin did not fare much better. Perhaps this was a rare miss. Just unfortunate on a first impression.

    Main courses took nearly an hour to be served. A fish dish and a pasta dish. Good sized quantity but nothing special in terms of cuisine. Server seemed to have lost track of getting the kitchen to be timely. We'd recommend the new Italian restaurant nearby. Excellent food & service.

    Service very good Outdoors was by far nicer than indoors, noisy indoors Outdoor gardens and landscaping beautiful Chicken Piccata was not what I expected Caesar salad very good A bit pricy but overall I would go again

    Outstanding place. Beautifully decorated. Celebrate my mom’s 90th Bday. Waitress was excellent, food was amazing. Highly recommend.

    Great staff. Very friendly. Very knowledgeable about food allergies especially Celiac Disease.

    Setting in outdoor patio was gorgeous - flowers - the view. Service was exceptional. Food was served with small extra touches so that it appealed to the eye and was very good. However, we found the beverage choices - cocktails and wine to be very pricey! Also entre prices were high. Lovely restaurant, but even though we are financially comfortable seniors we will most likely not frequent this restaurant - just felt it was taking advantage of the wealthy clientele in the area.

    A waitress decided to fix her hair right in front of us. Blond hair, in a ponytail. She ran her fingers through her hair, fixed her ponytail and bangs and then proceeded to handle food. How unhygienic for an upper class restaurant. Our waitress presented very tidy, hair pulled up. I had difficulty understanding what she was saying, she rhymed everything off so quickly, not very personable at all. Very businesslike, not friendly. She appeared far more friendly with the table that held a larger number then our 3. Your menu leaves a lot to be desired. I am allergic to seafood and lamb. Your appies are deep fried in the same oil as your fish. Really?? I didn't want a heavy lunch so was forced to have chicken again, had the same thing last April. I wanted something more substantial then a salad. Overall, a negative experience.

    Our sever was so good! I can’t remember her name but she has blonde hair and braces. She brought us blankets and was super nice and patient with us, answered all our questions.
