The Restaurant
Our main restaurant is modern with a lantern light ceiling which allows in plenty of natural light to flood in. A great piece of real architectural design. The restaurant boast some wonderful bespoke ironwork along with a vintage industrial feel . This restaurant offers a modern ambiance an ideal place to catch up with family and friends and enjoy our mouthwatering local dishes.

The Inn
The Inn is full of old world charm with little hidden nucks for dining. This restaurant is full of character and is used at lunch times primarily, but in the evenings, it offers a cosy ambiance lit by candle light ideal for a more casual approach to dining.

The Inn also offers an afternoon tea which is simply divine. Served between 2pm-5pm by prior bookings only.

The Bar and Snug is a relaxed and super cosy space sticking with the old charm of the Inn which this part of the building offers. It has an impressive wood burning stove and is dog friendly.

We are on holiday in the area, and have dined here two nights running. We are booked in again tomorrow. Thoroughly recommended

it was very good there was just one thing i noticed the meat in the turkey with trimmings sandwich was thinner than it had been in the past

A great luncheon experience. Delightful ambiance, professional and hospitable service. Wide range of choices on the menu. Smaller proportionately priced portions are available as standard on the menu. Food is excellent quality, well prepared and presented. A chair with arms was requested and supplied sited at the table on arrival. The toilets are spotless with disabled person facilities and access. There is a range of prices reflecting the choice of basic raw cost of the ingredients used in the preparation of the meal. Excellently in tune with the expectations of the customer!

We eat in here at least twice a month and always have a lovely welcome and ang a tasty meal, however for the past couple of times we hadsweet and sour chicken which is our favourite but last night paticularly it wasn't very nice as the chicken was over done and the rice had a lot of water on the plate which should of been the sauce. It won't put us off though we will still come in.

The food was very nice though I have to say £7 for the garlic bread is excessive. We did have a thoroughly enjoyable meal. We booked with a dog so 100% appreciate we were seated in the bar. However we booked for a meal, the tables we were expected to eat at were coffee tables and extremely uncomfortable to eat a 3 course meal at. If I was having a sandwich, well ok, but even so there’s no reason for not putting full height tables in your bar area if you are wanting to use it as an extension to your restaurant. Alternatively don’t offer the option for dogs when taking evening meal bookings. I would still recommend as we did have a very nice evening, and we will return but we won’t bring the dog next time

First class from start to finish. Welcoming friendly and efficient staff. Great food and all in all an enjoyable experience.

Staff were friendly & helpful. We had the smaller portions of the menu which were just right for us OAPs the desserts were to dead for. We were not rushed at anything. We will be back.
