Crooked Oak Tavern is a restaurant specializing in farm to table food. When available we will be using hormone-free beef, pork and chicken, locally raised produce that will change as is available during the growing seasons, and sustainable fish from local waters ( no farm raised fish). Our goal is to provide fresh local food that will not be full of hormones and pesticides. Recipes are a unique blend passed down through our family to you and given a bit of a modern twist. We want our guests to leave feeling like they had a home cooked meal mixing in New England, Pennsylvania Dutch, Maryland Seafood and Southern cooking.

Great meal. Specials were excellent. Several of us had the grouper and I had the filet special. All very good. Our server was fantastic.

Everything was great until it came time to pay the bill. The waiter was overwhelmed with two tables of patrons and I waited for a minimum of 20 minutes before I had to ask another waitress to close-out my check.

Great restaurant. Service has improved. Only complaint is I wish the main dining room was just like the back room and not so open (not private)

We have been to Crooked Oak Tavern several times. The drinks from the bar are strong, so you get a good value out of them. Shrimp and Grits are a good go-to item. Usually the Carolina Shrimp skewers are amazing but tonight they were very dry and overcooked. Don’t sleep on the baked macaroni and cheese. Delicious. Overall we would give our experience this time a 6.5/10.

I am sorry to hear you were not happy with you Grilled Carolina Shrimp, we are currently getting them caught right off of Garden City Beach. Some of my most favorite shrimp. If you ever have a problem please speak up while here and we would be happy to fix it for you immediately. We look forward to seeing you again soon.

Went for my wife’s birthday. Wasn’t what we were expecting. The restaurant was not very crowded, but it took forever to get our food. Recommendation, put out bread or something. The filet’s we ordered medium came out basically raw. Sent them back and again took way too long as the rest of our sides got cold. Mine was ok, but my wife’s was burnt on the outside and still undercooked in the middle. Definitely won’t be back. Don’t believe the hype on this place because it’s not worth the drive from MB….

Tommy thank you foe dining with us last night. Any time someone is joing us for a special we want to make it memorable in a positive experience. I am sorry we did not fulfill that promise last night. Our steaks are not prepared the same as your cookie cutter restaurant. Our steak temperatures are a little under so from you ordering medium would be medium well in our restaurant. I give you my deepest apologies for ruiing your wifes birthday. Please come give us another try to make thing right for you and your wife. Cheers and God Bless!!

The menu offers a variety of options. Our steaks were cooked to perfection and the flavors were remarkable. The service was spectacular, very attentive, informative, and friendly! We can not wait to return soon!
