Crispin at Studio Voltaire is a 50-cover modern European restaurant and counter bar located in leading gallery and arts organisation Studio Voltaire.

The kitchen, lead by Michael Miles, delivers classic and seasonal menus showcasing the best produce of the British Isles from small-scale and independent producers. Expect modern takes on European and British classics, fresh pastas, charcoal-grilled meat and fish, seasonal vegetables, and comforting desserts.

Alongside an array of sustainable tap wines each season’s wine list will bring a focus to 4 different winemakers, celebrating their individual stories. The wine programme will also include wine tastings and winemaker dinners.

Located a few minutes from Clapham Common station this multi-use venue has event capacity up to 400 people standing or up to 200 people seated, plus a garden terrace.

Crispin Events offers catering services for seated dining, weddings receptions and dinners, working lunches and canapé and drinks parties.

I would highly recommend visiting. The staff was excellent and the food was fantastic, tucked behind the high street it feels like discovering a gem. Definitely one of my favourites.

delicious food and drinks, very cool setting within the gallery with the gardens outside, friendly service. The menu was inventive with a few little surprises and the flavours and textures were incredible. Loved the confit tomatoes and the cheese croquettes. Loved it all actually. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely outstanding experience! Love the gallery setting, the staff are LOVELY (all three of us were celebrating our birthdays and they made a huge fuss of us!), the food is incredible – don't miss the duck liver parfait and the pork chop in particular – and it's really good value too. Probably the best place to eat in Clapham right now!

I am a big fan of Bar Crispin and couldn’t wait to check out Crispin! I had high expectations and the team exceeded all of them. We had the most incredible meal, but the service was amazing. So helpful with the menu and so friendly. Highly recommend the Ricotta & the steak with smoke aubergine! Big shoutout to all the staff but especially our lovely waitress who let us try the marg before ordering and was so helpful with the entire menu. I cannot wait to return. Incredible food and people

What a fabulous space! Accomplished restaurant with a fabulous buzzy yet ‘romantic’ atmosphere. Good menu, friendly efficient service; fresh food well cooked, plated and delicious. Will definitely be back.

This is a lovely hidden gem tucked away just off Clapham High Street. They have a lovely garden outside where you can enjoy summer drinks before dinner. The meal was fabulous. The sourdough was fantastic as was the Comte croquette. We also had the breaded pork which was lovely and the house white was a winner. Really friendly and energetic team serving as well. A great evening.

Such a disappointment.. service fantastic but food sadly didn’t match ,croquette's greasy , asparagus had precisely 2small pieces and all salad leaves , bavette tough , pork chop over fatty .. nice wine though how could it have had good reviews ?
