Credence is a South Texas, ranch-inspired upscale restaurant with a focus on live-fire cooking. Chef and two-time James Beard Award-nominated restaurateur Levi Goode's inaugural concept promises a culinary exploration of Texas through his unique perspectives on the region's food, people, culture, and the culmination of a lifetime of stories.

What a disappointment. Some items were good while others were terrible. Starting with the martini….not even real blue cheese in the olives. They used them out of a jar. The deviled crab app was good. The monkey bread was just rolls in a pan. The Caesar salad was terrible. Get a new dressing. The ribeye was overcooked and not good at all. The highlight was the coconut cream pie. Was awesome. So if you want dessert…give it a try. Otherwise there are plenty of better options.

We dined from 5-7pm. Great service and ambience. Food was tasty, drinks were good. Favorite was the deviled crabs. Overall had a great experience. Price point wise on the high end but well worth the experience.

I had a great experience at Credence. I was there with a group of friends and our server was outstanding. Although I wasn’t a fan of my food selection, the other people in my group loved their orders. I would try Credence again for dinner, especially given the phenomenal customer service.

An excellent meal. Decided to give this a try catching up with a friend thought we would check out this restaurant amazing. The deviled crabs were spectacular. Had the oysters on the half shell traditional style nice sauces. I had the tuna and it may well have been the best cooked tuna steak I’ve ever had. I did order it rare as suggested by the chef and was very very pleased. The ambience is very nice. It’s easy to get into the service was spectacular. Adam was our waiter and the sommelier did a wonderful job of helping us select a wine. I highly recommend Credence.

I didn't love the menu. I'm happy to pay for good food, but $16 for a piece of dry chocolate cake is a joke. It was inedible. Our party of 4 left it on the table. The tuna sip appetizer is just tuna fish salad. Not what I expected. My husband's tuna steak w beans was good. Waiter hardly ever came over. I asked for water with my ice and each time they kept refilling it and not providing ice. If I'm paying $100 per person for just food, no alcohol, then the service should be better. Waiter should have communicated to the other table attendants to keep my ice full. No napkins on our table when we sat down. Food was brought and we had to ask for napkins.
