Credence is a South Texas, ranch-inspired upscale restaurant with a focus on live-fire cooking. Chef and two-time James Beard Award-nominated restaurateur Levi Goode's inaugural concept promises a culinary exploration of Texas through his unique perspectives on the region's food, people, culture, and the culmination of a lifetime of stories.

Everything was amazing. I waited to order the stuffed crab and was too late but I will definitely be back.

Wonderful explosion of flavors! We ordered items from most of the categories on the menu. Delicious! The wait staff and management were knowledgeable and very friendly and went above and beyond. Ask for a private table for your special occasion! Will definitely be back! Love the Goode Family restaurants!

A small gathering of five to celebrate the start of the Christmas season. An annual tradition for us. This year we chose Credence for our celebration. Our first visit to Credence and we all agreed that it was a perfect choice. Delicious libations with quality ingredients. One sweet cinnamon roll divided five ways for just a taste. We wanted more! Many entree choices make for a difficult decision. The pork schnitzel filled the entire platter. Perfectly seasoned and cooked. The shrimp and grits were a picture on a plate. Creamy grits and plentiful shrimp. Eggs Benedict with soft poached eggs on country ham and soft English muffin beneath. A lovely fluffy omelette with Boursin cheese. Well done Credence. The restaurant has a modern, classy ambience. Our waiter Xavier was cheerful and helpful. Only one little complaint. The coffee was late in coming and the refill was even later.

Creedence is Levi Goode's successful foray into fine dining. He has some very talented chef's who have created preparations for every dish that sets them apart from the ordinary. The crab claws and tuna tartare are excellent. The caesar salad is a chopped salad and is deliciously full of flavors. The roasted tuna and the dry aged ribeye were each special. The staff is as well trained as any restaurant in NYC, and definitely friendlier. Their bar manager has to be one of the best, as not only did they have Blanton's, but they had Blanton's Gold, with both at exceedingly reasonable prices compared to others. We are fortunate that it is nearby, and we expect they will see us regularly.

Love the food and ambiance in the bar area for dining. Our waiter Armando was very attentive and professional. We will definitely dine again!

Solid place for a business lunch. Food is well made and tasty but not outstanding. Great ambience. Tables are apart enough and the noise level is fine to have a conversation. Service very attentive and went overboard to "compensate" us for the simple fact that the Texas bread was not available when we were there. Very appreciative. Overall would come back for a business lunch or dinner or just for a simple dinner. Just dont expect super sophisticated dishes. Btw, the patio outside looked very enticing. It was too cold when were there, but it definitely has a potential on a good day.

Appetizers were good (monkey bread, deviled eggs), but the mains left much to be desired. Pork schnitzel breading flaked off in huge pieces, revealing very dry pork that was generally unpleasant to eat. Ordered the steak frites medium rare, arrived medium well, server quickly took it away for a replacement. The new steak was also not medium rare, more medium, and none of the fat had been rendered. It was lunchtime and we were in a rush though, so I ate what I could of the twice disappointing dish. The fries were great. Service was good and the restaurant is beautiful, but its difficult to look past a Texas restaurant that didn’t cook a steak correctly in two tries and didn’t fry something well.
