Credence is a South Texas, ranch-inspired upscale restaurant with a focus on live-fire cooking. Chef and two-time James Beard Award-nominated restaurateur Levi Goode's inaugural concept promises a culinary exploration of Texas through his unique perspectives on the region's food, people, culture, and the culmination of a lifetime of stories.

Unbelievable. The whole staff executed every aspect of service flawlessly. Don’t sleep on the parisa. Or the snapper. For that matter, check out the Coconut crème pie too. Wander over to Sidebar for an entirely different experience. Perfection.

Parisa was excellent Heirloom blue crab rice is excellent. BBQ gulf Shrimp and grits too salty. Monkey bread is very good. Butter whipped potatoes great. Schnitzel was dry. Wedge salad good. Broccolini was good. French fry service delicious. Ambiance is beautiful. Felt hurried by the server. Expensive.

We were sat 30 minutes after our reservation time, and one of the items we ordered was forgotten as well. Great food and beautiful space, but won’t be back until they’ve ironed out some kinks.

Really cool place, had the burger it was ok but overcooked. Deviled Eggs were great.

It may have been the staff was weary of Holiday business or that the waiter was inexperienced , but they couldn’t seem to get anything right .(ran out of lettuce for a cesar salad ?!!) I have enjoyed dining at Credence since it opened. Unfortunately, i was introducing a friend to it yesterday . The Manager,Elliot was gracious and reduced the bill … after we got him involved . ( which I feel the waiter should have done on our behalf) I will certainly return but it left a bad taste in my mouth 🙁

Amazing place. We orders starters - bread, baked oysters and crab and the famous fries experience. Each and every thing was great. Their cocktails are fantastic. Sommelier suggested some amazing French and Texas wine based on our liking. Ambiance and food was just outstanding.

It is a very nice restaurant. I think my expectations were high so I thought I would be blown away and I wasn’t. Still the restaurant is great!

Really looked forward to trying this place. Bar service was good but staff were slightly offended when one of our party asked if any holiday cocktails were offered. At the table staff were attentive but kept pushing starters even though we said we just wanted mains. We bit and ordered monkey bread. Was just plain rolls and first attempt was barely defrosted in the middle. Would have thought fresh made. Did not have first selected wine so took recommendation and was ok. Finally most the table was fine with mains but I had the shrimp and grits. Could have done a lot more with the flavor given how flavorful New Orleans bbq shrimp are and lumps of cheese in grits a bit odd. I had heard amazing things about this place but have to say disappointed especially at this price point.
