Credence is a South Texas, ranch-inspired upscale restaurant with a focus on live-fire cooking. Chef and two-time James Beard Award-nominated restaurateur Levi Goode's inaugural concept promises a culinary exploration of Texas through his unique perspectives on the region's food, people, culture, and the culmination of a lifetime of stories.

Always a wonderful experience. This is at least my fourth visit. Always find something new to try but can’t resist the deviled crabs and coconut cream pie! Service and quality of food are consistent and excellent. Want to try the duck next time!

Our first time at Credence and it didn’t disappoint. Waylon and Josh did a great job taking care of us. The food, presentation, and service were outstanding.

Celebrated my BFF's birthday last night. Loved the attention of service from the moment I walked into the door to the time we left the restaurant. It was a great dining experience. The food for dinged to a 4 star because the $16 slice of devil's food cake to-go was hard and dry... inedible! Beside that mishap, my friend and I truly enjoyed ourselves. Russell and Georgia were awesome servers!!

Excellent business lunch, great food and outstanding service. Menu has a different mix of plates which makes it hard to pick the style of the restaurant, but great overall. The bar is outstanding with great options for mix cocktails

Overall I was not impressed with the quality of the food. I ordered a $73 ribeye with chimichurri sauce medium rare. The chimichurri sauce never came The steak was just medium well on the outside and medium on the inside and tasted awful. Like they dropped it into the coals and took it out again. The rest of the food that we ordered was not bad but not outstanding. You can do much better at this price level at quite a few places in Houston.

Food was excellent as was wait staff. Noise level a little high, but still manageable. Will recommend and will definitely be going back!!!

Our experience at Credence was overall positive, thanks to the excellent service. The waitstaff was attentive, ensuring we were well taken care of throughout our meal. The ambience was nice, though not particularly cozy—more of a refined setting. The food was good but didn’t quite justify the price. The Cowboy Cut Ribeye (RC Ranch Texas Wagyu) tasted no different from a standard USDA Prime ribeye, which was a bit disappointing. The Pan de Campo was delicious, but the portion was too small for a table of four. Our interaction with the sommelier could have been better. We had a question about whether a particular red wine had hints of strawberry, as we were concerned about a food allergy. Instead of directly addressing our concern, the response focused on explaining that wine is made from grapes—something we already understood. While there may have been some miscommunication, we felt the interaction could have been more helpful and a bit friendlier. That said, the outstanding service from the waitstaff made the experience enjoyable, and we’d consider returning for that alone. However, the food and wine service didn’t leave a strong enough impression to make it a must-visit for us.
