Credence is a South Texas, ranch-inspired upscale restaurant with a focus on live-fire cooking. Chef and two-time James Beard Award-nominated restaurateur Levi Goode's inaugural concept promises a culinary exploration of Texas through his unique perspectives on the region's food, people, culture, and the culmination of a lifetime of stories.

Service was spectacular for what the front staff could control. Definitely some back end operational issues with drinks coming out without asking a second time. Entree course was delayed and not impressive given it’s their $280 ribeye. A couple sides came out after we entirely done with the entree course The appetizers and desserts were very solid So some logistical challenges in the kitchen that need to be worked out

Table wasn’t ready at time of reservation. Hostess did not give us idea of how long it might b. Just asked us to have a seat at bar. However manager talked to us & found us a nice table.

Outstanding food, service, and atmosphere. The prices are not inexpensive, but reasonable. I had a pretty good steak and some excellent blue crab rice. My wife had an excellent Caesar salad and we shared a huge piece of coconut creme pie for desert. The service was impressive. We will be back.

We celebrated our anniversary at Credence and it was exceptional!! Service, food and atmosphere were outstanding, especially the service. Excellent staff!! Can’t say enough good things about our experience there. Will be going back soon!

Beautiful place, very busy. Server took a while to come to the table and come back with drinks. Sparkling wine by the glass was poured at the table and was flat, and the waiter didn’t notice we sent it back. The cowboy ribeye was $250+ and was ordered medium rare came out more medium plus. The server looked at me like I was crazy when I said something and then 5 mins later the manager came and since we’d already eaten half of it at that point I decided not to press about it being over cooked, however if it knew it was $250 I would have, it was mkt price on menu, which is fine, however should be cooked to perfection for that price. The steak itself was good quality and seasoned well. $40 truffle pasta was under salted. Everything else was delicious but service and cooking a steak properly is pretty important. Will return, it’s pretty new probably will improve with time.

We had a great dining experience at Credence. Starting with cocktails and throughout the entire dinner everything was perfectly prepared and delicious. Our server was very friendly , knowledgeable and had some great suggestions. Our choice to course out small plates was a great plan. Dishes were brought out perfectly timed. Dishes were beautifully presented. We can’t wait to come back!

It’s been a while that a newer restaurant has it together right off the bat. The food was spectacular but the service was phenomenal. They all worked together to make our evening special. Can’t wait to go back.

This was a great new restaurant that has been open about a month. Valet parking was very easy and quick. Restaurant is decorated with an upscale open, lively feel to is. Kitchen is open and they cook over an open fire, that the patrons can watch up close if you like at the kitchen bar seating. Food was on point, service was excellent, creative drink options and great outdoor seating options as well. It is pricey, but worth a visit.
