The team behind Crave Fishbar, NYC's first 100% sustainable seafood restaurant, is enhancing their reputation as the go-to fish brand by opening Crave Sushi Bar, directly next door to their midtown location of Crave Fishbar, and in keeping with the ethos of the group, have a focus on sustainable domestic fish.Items such as Local Sea Scallop Nigiri with beurre noisette and celtic sea salt; Kona Kampachi Sashimi - shiso yuzu pesto, topped with popped quinoa; Dressed Hudson Valley Steelhead Trout Sashimi highlight Chef Mitgang’s bold approach to the cuisine.Beverage program is overseen by Brian Owens with a large sake selection, cocktails paired for the food menu, Japanese whiskys, and tequila, which Owens believes is a great pairing.The space is centered by a sushi bar, comfy booths and banquettes with seating for 60 people. Their responsible and ethical sourcing practices carry over into the materials used for the design: weathered metals, textured woods, an oceanic color palette.

Introducing our Hand Roll @ High-Ball Cocktail Happy Hour every day 5-6:30pm centered around open-style sushi hand rolls (think sushi tacos) that are two bites of locally sourced and creative genius delivered to your table within seconds of being rolled up. All of our hand rolls are $8 and we feature daily specials of what just landed in our local waters that our fishmonger sources seasonally. We also feature a Wagyu bao bun sourced from our friends at New England Wagyu farms. And what is happy hour without a great deal on drinks? Our bar team has created a fun selection of High-Ball cocktails focused on using high quality spirits topped with Badger Beverages, a local craft soda purveyor. All of our High-Ball cocktails are priced at $10

Amazing Sushi and Exceptional Service! I had the pleasure of dining at Crave Sushi , and I can say it's one of the best sushi experiences I’ve had! The freshness of the sushi, paired with the unique and creative dishes, was beyond impressive. Every bite was a perfect blend of flavors, leaving me eager to try more. However, what truly sets this restaurant apart is the outstanding service. The waiters were attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and made excellent recommendations based on my preferences. They were always there when needed without being overbearing, making the experience feel seamless and enjoyable. A special shoutout to the manager, Carlos who went above and beyond to ensure every guest felt welcomed and appreciated. Their genuine hospitality made the evening feel even more special. If you're looking for a sushi place to celebrate a special occasion with amazing food and fantastic service sushi, this is the place to go. Our birthday dinner is absolutely unforgettable I can't recommend it enough!

We had one of the best experience dining at a restaurant! Our server Harry was exceptional and made sure we had the best birthday celebration! The food was absolutely delicious. The sushi was fresh and the warm chocolate cookie was a dessert not to be missed. Highly recommend this place for ambience, amazing service and excellent food!

Great menus. Got a few happy hour sushi rolls. So much flavor. The regular menu had such great offerings as well. The dressed sashimi was pretty amazing. So fresh. So clean. So flavorful. Our server was great as we kept ordering and ordering. Crave sushi bar is such a nice compliment to the already wonderful crave fish bar next door.

This restaurant is a gem! The food is outstanding and they even have a kids menu perfect for families. The service is excellent. Our children have allergies and they were very good with helping us navigate the menu. We can’t wait to return for delicious sushi!

Everything was delicious!!! I went for my birthday and they gave me a candle in sorbet :). The portions are a bit small for the prices but nonetheless some super unique menu options that were all absolutely delicious. Highly recommend!!
