Crasqui is a lively Venezuelan restaurant in Saint Paul. Recipes are inspired in our chef-owner childhood, family and friends in her home-country Venezuela. For us Crasqui is more than just a restaurant—it’s a vessel for memories, dreams, flavors, and connections. Kind of a weird location but worth sticking it out. This small establishment is obviously committed to doing food right and representing Venezuelan cuisine as well as possible. A few of the items we had were outstanding, my favorite of the evening was a seafood empanada in in blue corn pastry that was really remarkable. Good atmosphere and very attentive service. I definitely give them an A for effort and will be back.

This is our 2nd visit and both times we loved the food. They prepare fish perfectly. The shrimp bisque is great. I didn't love my cocktail, but liked the last one I had. The restaurant is lovely inside, but the outside tables face a noisy street.

Our group of four shared the seafood empanadas and remolachas infused beets appetizers. Interesting and unique drink offerings. Our entrees sea bass, trout and black bean souffle with special touches were each outstanding. The ambiance and service made Carsqui a wonderful dining experience. We recommend highly and we will return.

We had a wonderful dining experience at Crasqui in June 2024. This was our third visit and it just keeps getting better. The space is beautiful and welcoming with much attention to detail in its design. The service by Samantha was outstanding! She was so knowledgeable about the menu and was great about recommending dishes. We ordered everything to share among 4 of us. Where the portions were an appetizer size, and knowing we were sharing, she recommended ordering two portions and it was spot on in terms of each of us enjoying a nice bite or two. Now comes the wow of the evening: the food! Everything Samantha recommended we ordered and could not be more delighted about the gastronomic experience we had. Chef Ramirez is cooking up beautiful and delicious creations with so much care! We will definitely be returning, and our friends (first timers) will also go back. And we vowed to share far and wide recommendations to family and friends. We want many more people to experience this amazing dining experience in downtown Saint Paul across the river on Wabasha. It's easy to get to and there is parking for the restaurant. Hasta la vista, Crasqui!

This restaurant is a gem. The food was wonderful. The flavors were well balanced and adventurous but not out there overwhelming. Highly recommend the plaintains and the Yucca. The beef entree was a wonderful medium rare and very flavorful with the added sausage which had a nice spice kick but not blow your mouth out hot. Desserts get the coconut cake it’s worth the show and tastes marvelous. Looking to returning soon!!

The best customer service and food ever! Our servers made this new experience phenomenal. If ever in Minnesota again, this will definitely be a go to for dinner. Perhaps we will try brunch next time! Thanks Crasqui! Well worthy of 10 stars!!!

Crasqui deserves a star. Thanks so much for making my partner’s birthday dinner so special! They greeted us with happy birthday from the start, made us a card with each staff’s signature, and brought us champagne to celebrate. Highly recommend ⭐️
