The Art Gallery Restaurant, Crafted by Matt Moran, provides a unique dining experience in one of Sydney’s most stunning dining rooms. Reflecting Moran’s signature style, the restaurant showcases locally sourced produce and premium Australian meat and seafood through a light, Mediterranean-inspired menu guided by the seasons. The drinks menu features an all-Australian wine list as well as Champagne, cocktails, beers, ciders and a substantial non-alcoholic offering. The restaurant is operated in partnership with the Gallery’s culinary advisor, Matt Moran, who works with food and beverage partner The Fresh Collective to execute his vision.

For groups of eight guests or more we offer a group menu which includes three courses, shared entrees and mains, alternate drop dessert. This menu changes with the seasons and is made up of the best of our a la carte menu. It is a fantastic way for your group to feast on a selection of Chef's favourite dishes. *New seasonal menu coming in October - please check back mid October for booking after this time* Please make us aware of any dietary requirements at hello@craftedbymattmoran.com.au. A 10% service fee is incurred for groups of 8 or more. Member discount does not apply. Split payments respectfully not offered.
Mucha Menu & Exhibition Ticket (no pre-payment)

Enjoy a 2 or 3 course set menu lunch along with a ticket to the Alphonse Mucha - Spirit of Art Nouveau exhibition (located in Naala Badu, our north building until 22 September 2024). Available for 2-7 guests. Tickets must be picked up directly from the restaurant on the day of your reservation and not from the gallery ticketing desk. Feel free to collect your ticket before lunch or upon arrival for your reservation. Please be aware that credit card details are collected solely for our no-show policy, and payment for the lunch package and any beverages is due at the conclusion of your meal. One ticket per person, and no additional discounts are applicable

A great experience. Beautifully presented dishes made with fresh, local ingredients. The service is impeccable—attentive and knowledgeable with a thoughtfully curated wine list to complement the meal, every visit is a delightful experience. Highly recommended for a memorable and refined dining outing while in Sydney!

The service was amazing. The food was good but felt that fish and chips we had was very overpriced for the product.

We did the $92 Archibald ticket and lunch. The entrees were excellent, however the main meal options were limited and the chicken dish was disappointing mainly due to the polenta being mushy and tasteless and the sauce very thick and gravy like. Nevertheless the chicken was beautifully cooked and the beans were excellent. My friend enjoyed her cauliflower. We were also in the back corner with a view of the expressway so that probably didn’t help matters.

Fantastic from start to finish. We were early but they accommodated us whilst they got our table ready. We were celebrating a birthday and every staff member we interacted with passed on birthday wishes, making it a very special day!

I’d never used the word “exquisite” before but it’s the best description for the food we had in the “2 course Archibald menu”. The service staff were knowledgeable and attentive

The ambience and views was relaxing and the views outstanding. The waitstaff provided a high level of efficiency, professionalism and friendliness.

Lovely dining experience to end our morning of enjoying the Archibald exhibition. Excellent service and delicious food. We had booked the Father’s Day special offer which was very good value for money.
