Fantastic food, great service and a lovely terrace! We had a lovely meal here and were so impressed with the staff (including a really lovely manager). They recommended great dishes, offered us samples of different beers and even came and got us when the shuffleboard table was available. We'll definitely be back! P. S. The beef brisket is to die for!

Waitress was great but so busy that we waited a while and we didn’t receive our drink order, we finished our food and it still didn’t come but she apologised and dealt with it well. Given it was moderately busy all staff were rushed off their feet. Food was medicore, I ate ages ago at the St Albans branch and remember it being much nicer. Our burnt ends were 80%fat. Maine were warm-cold when first received. Cocktails were good. £45 pp for shared starter, a main and one drink.

Love the outside eating. Modern and friendly Very calm and chilled vibe Service a little slow but young girls just learning. Beef rib was delicious Will definitely return

We were looking forward to trying this new venue for Hitchin, however we found it rather disappointing as an experience. Starters were the best part, unfortunately two of the main courses were not as they should have been. These were cheerfully removed from the bill and we were informed that there had been other complaints about the quality of the meat! Why keep serving it to customers then? The server did not carry out a meal check until the end of the meal. Also we were disappointed with the pricing of the wine ,as we have extensive experience of the wine industry and realized there was probably a 600 percent mark up on what we had!

Got there early and had a cocktail at the bar. Good variety of choices of different cocktails with a twist. Food descriptions were great and food was delicious when it arrived. Staff so friendly and helpful and gave great advice re food and drinks. Will definitely be going back!

Good meal and great service. However, it was not good value for money - extremely expensive. Not sure if we will return.

We booked a table outside because it was the only option when we booked online, however, when we arrived the place was pretty empty so I'm not sure why we couldn't book inside. Another time, I think I'd call and ask. My kids loved the rustic/ industrial looking outside area and the heater in our little booth but I felt it was a bit bare and could have done with some plants or something. The food came quickly and the kids thought the meat was absolutely amazing and now want to go there all the time! My burger was delicious too. However the Caesar salad tasted bland and limp, as though it had been mixed the day before and just sat in a fridge going all watery. The coleslaw was also bland and the pickled veg were ok. So this place does amazing meat and good fries but needs to work on the rest of the sides from what I can tell. Overall though, I felt that everything was just way overpriced and that put me off returning.

The service was poor all the waiters were near the back of house no one came to see if we needed anything , it took ages to take our food order. even though we ordered before the table next to us who got their mains first and then we had to wait over 50mins for main course which weren’t even hot , the meat was dry not tender , the Mac and cheese was oily - tasted like ghee . It was really disappointing experience as I’ve been wanting to try it out for a while , we ended up leaving half of our food . I would not recommend at all , and I’d be telling friends and family not to go .
