The Original Crabby Bill's is an iconic seafood restaurant that's been nestled in the old Florida beach town of Indian Rocks Beach for over 40 years, steps from the sand! Open for lunch and dinner daily. Fresh local seafood, fresh cut steaks, and of course CRAB are mainstays of our extensive menu. Everything from shrimp, lobster, clams, mussels, oysters, octopus, soft shell crab, frog legs, real Florida gator tail, and of course fresh caught Gulf grouper; we have something for everyone. Inside and outside dining available, full liquor bars, live music nightly, and much more. Hospitality is our blood and we are excited to have you and your family at our table soon.

Your reservation at The Original Crabby Bill's is for our inside dining room only. Due to unforeseen weather conditions and business volume we are unable to make reservations for our exterior and outdoor dining areas.

    Very disappointed with the poor service last night. It appeared like our waiter only had 4 tables but he was never available to fill drinks or provide additional items after our food arrived.

    Online, the only reservations it would allow me to make for 6 people was at 9pm. Walking up to it, the outside bar area was hopping and it really seemed like the place to be. Once we went inside though, we were seated immediately and the place was dead. Great if you wanted to have late dinner in a sleepy little seafood joint.. not great if you were looking for a fun atmosphere for the family. Waitress was great. Food was great. We had crab legs of course, fried oysters and a lobster roll. The only knock on the food was as the wait time. We went a long time (40 minutes maybe???) between apps and meal. For the 6 of us the bill was $225 and after a $50 tip… it was too close to $300 for the overall experience. Just not worth it in my opinion. A few nights later we went to another crab place had a similar meal for $240 after tip. Food, service, wait time and atmosphere were all superior. I like crabby bills and maybe it would have been a better experience with an earlier reservation, but this family won’t be finding out.

    I miss the old Crabby when I went years ago. It’s very commercial feeling now and not nearly as that small family owned business as it used to be. The 10% stabilization fee on the menu is wild to me. That just sounds like in inability to plan for market swings in seafood costs. I don’t know any other restaurant on the gulf that has it. It’s not bad but I won’t be going back. Still highly recommend for tourists but it’s a one and done.

    Service was poor. We waited 35 minutes for our drink order, 3 glasses of water, a small plastic cup of wine and one mixed drink. It also took over an hour for us to receive our food. Food quality was average at best.

    We had 6 people and waned a picnic table. Got a smaller one and one of us had to sit at the end. Food was good as usual. Staff was very busy. Place was rocking with diners.

    Okay, if you want a really good seafood experience in a comfortable restaurant skip Crabby Bill’s. The food is mediocre and you are rushed through your meal like nothing I have ever experienced. But to be honest the 4 adults and 2 children in our party were not upset to just get our food and leave. Please don’t not go there if you want to give it a try because of its history. Just go there with low expectations and you won’t be disappointed.

    Good atmosphere, thought the food was also good but not outstanding from other places I have eaten. When served the starters we were told our mains were also ready at the same time and was given the option to serve together or keep mains back. I do not want to eat my starter with my main, don’t want to feel like I’m rushed! Slaw was missing from 3 mains and had to ask. To be honest, I’ve eaten at Crabby Bills and that’s it. Would I return? Not really out of choice.

    The prices were high for the value/quality of the food. We had to wait 15 minutes after we were seated to get someone to come by our table to take our drink order, and the key lime pie was not as good as we expected.

    Great seafood menu but make reservations on the weekends. Fun outdoor bar and bands.
