   I was in San Diego for a conference and Cowboy Star came highly recommended. The filet can hold its own with the best steaks in Houston. Worth a visit.

   Great steak and service! Would give them 10 stars!!! Wait staff were very attentive! We had filets that were some of the best ever! We had a picky eater with us and she devoured the steak and mac and cheese! Bread and butter were wonderful too!

   We shared the appetizers, and they were all great- i.e. bread rolls, oysters, waygu carpaccio and wedge salad. Steaks were all cooked perfectly and were paired with mashed potatoes and asparagus. Sides were Brussell sprouts, mac and cheese and mushrooms. All were large enough to share with our table of four. Banana Pudding for dessert. Overall, the experience was as the reviews that we read. Loved everything.

   Food was excellent! Mac and cheese, banana pudding are a must get. Service was exceptional, especially during late hours. Will recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the San Diego area.

   Excellent food quality and service. It’s a little pricey and the ambiance is very casual for the price point but excellent food quality. It’s worth a try.

   This steakhouse is a must stop on any itinerary! Customer service was very prompt and friendly. Now the bread here is SO GOOD! Warm, soft and they use that same bread for their chocolate chip bread pudding dessert which is PHENOMENAL! Steaks were cooked to perfection and automatically came with mashed potatoes and green beans! Loved that the steaks already came paired with sides, but if you leave without trying the mac and cheese then you missed out! 10/10! Expect us back very soon!

    The service was amazing. Had a reservation for 4PM and they got us seated right away. Told them it was my birthday and they brought me a special menu. I ordered an aged ribeye and braised short rib which is probably my favorite. The steak came with green beans and mash. The food came out in a timely manner and they were very attentive. I also ordered the banana pudding for dessert which was also amazing. I would recommend this place.
