Lovely service provided by Ella. Food was nice but would have liked more savoury food. Overall experience was good but not sure if I would rush back.

Scones were delicious, very generous with clotted cream. Lots of little cakes available. Would have preferred less sandwiches and had different savoury bits instead. Customer service was faultless; everyone was warm, welcoming and professional. A really lovely experience, would recommend to others.

Booked a table online for lunch at 15:00 and when we got there, they said the kitchen closes at 15:00 so we had to order everything together. The issue I have is, why take bookings for 15:00 and later if the kitchen is closed? We wanted to order dessert and got told the kitchen was on a break and therefore we could not have dessert. We were so excited to try this restaurant and pay more for food and drinks so we expect to have good service. Well the service was horrendous, however the food and drinks were good. Definitely wouldn’t recommend, and won’t be returning.

Firstly, I booked for lunch in the Brasserie but my guests where taken to a room called the library. Our table was adjacent to group of non diners enjoying a very noisy reunion afternoon get together and drowning any conversation during our meal. The food was disappointing, three of my guests choose “ pie of the day “ which resembled a Marks and Spencer Chicken and mushroom pie with splodge of mash potato and a sprig of cress. Part way through our meals jug of gravy appeared together with side order we had requested. Sadly, three of our group have since had diahorria. What a waste of £ 300 !

Been here a few time now and also have exceptional service. Had afternoon tea recently for my 21st wedding anniversary and was lovely. Weather was great, service was great and the afternoon tea was great.

It was my friends 90th and was just what I hoped for. Service was friendly and attentive. The free glass of champs was unexpected and much appreciated. We couldn’t eat it all, wellicould of but my friend couldn’t so they gave us a box which I left at her home for later. Thank you have recommended you to several friends looking for inspiration for their older friends

Food was lovely but service was none existent which was such a shame as this was to celebrate a birthday. Service was very inattentive- Had to keep asking for someone to come and do drinks orders as the afternoon tea included unlimited hot drinks. Often had to chase that order up as would get forgotten about. Had to ask for the afternoon tea to be bought out in the end.
