We have been to this restaurant a few times in the past. I was less impressed than I have been previously. There were less customers in than previously. The staff huddled around the till area quite a lot. The food was OK but nothing special.

No issues both myself & my wife had 2 x courses each it was a nice meal with good value for money

We were looking forward to a meal here and it didn’t disappoint. We had seen beforehand a sharing platter on the weekend menu but when we arrived we were only offered the a la carte menu, we had to ask for the weekend menu. Not sure whether it was forgotten or whether they were just trying to push the main menu. The food was out of this world. All three meats cooked to perfection, incredible tasty sides and a sauce for each meat. A fabulous alternative to a roast on a Sunday! Despite being absolutely stuffed I still managed to squeeze a dessert in and it did not disappoint! I had the strawberry and elderflower crème brûlée. The flavours weren’t overpowering and helped to cut the sweetness and creaminess of the brûlée. Bill was very reasonable, very good value for money. The only thing I don’t agree with personally is a service charge. I always tip and tip well when it’s worth it too. I find a service charge a little cheeky

My daughter and I shared the duck a l’orange and loved it. We have light appetites so was able to share it by adding a side of green beans. Staff was friendly and service was good.
