What a delightful place to eat, the menu prix fixe is great value. Good selection on the wine list too. Food really had a French feel to it and the waiting staff were all very friendly. Will definitely be going again.

I booked Cote as a treat as I used to come here often. The restaurant was very busy, noisy and full of staff. We were sat in an alcove adjacent to the kitchen, that was ‘hidden’ by a curtain. The area was poorly lit but it was ok. Food choice was the usual menu and service was good.

Beautiful food as always, service very friendly and professional. We come to Cote every New Year’s Day when we stay away for a couple of nights so we visit them in different locations. Staff had worked late the pervious night but were still very attentive.

Celebrated new years eve here, our waiter josh was fabulous , the 4 course menu was great, you get alot of food for the price thank you for a lovely evening!

Worst experience of a meal out in York Starters turned up quickly But where tiny and tasteless Main course did not turn up Complained to manager after waiting an hour who told us it was on the tray ready to be brought out immediately. Which was obviously a lie. After an other 15 min it did not arrive so we went to see the manager and told her we were leaving and not paying which she said was fine. Would not recommend this place to anyone. They had also run out of a lot of things on the menu. Which you’re not told about until you order it. Complete shambles of a restaurant
