In London for a long weekend with relative . As I have tried COTE in Glasgow (it’s closed down now. I expect the food / service should be up to COTE’s standard. We were given table next to the bar at the corner. So basically we have to wave our hand or wait till our server free to attend our need. We have our drink and water order before ordering our starter but water didn’t arrive till we start eaten our main course. Because the service was SO slow - we end up not having dessert. Over all it’s was only very average

Service was mediocre (mixed up our food and had to request things multiple times, and water spilled on us- chaotic) Food was average and the chicken salad was served with what seemed to be leftover price of chicken. Disappointing.

I asked for my steak to be rare, it came as medium. However, the staff were quick to rectify this by making me another steak, this time rare. My bill was also reduced as compensation. Well done Cote!!

I love this restaurant and eat there often. However, yesterday was dreadful. The waiter wasn’t listening properly when we ordered our food and got the order wrong. I ordered steak frites and my husband a burger. When the order arrived 15 minutes later, my husband was given pork belly, which he returned. The waiter, understandably, took my steak away too. Over 30 minutes later the food returned. My steak was overcooked and grisly; my husband’s burger was also overcooked. We were offered no financial consideration for the poor quality of the food and service. I’m hugely disappointed as Cote is one of my favourite places to eat.

Not the best visit to Cote, I had the salmon which was awful, tiny and overcooked and inedible, it never should have left the kitchen. My guests were happy with their steaks. Disappointing because this branch of Cote is usually so reliable
