We had a lovely evening and had a really nice waiter. Whilst the service was good they had to be prompted for steak knives then spoons to serve the veg. They seemed a bit disorganised. But it was lovely to eat outside on one of the few summer evenings we’ll have now.

We had a lovely supper in the outside seating area. The service from all of the staff was attentive knowledgeable & efficient. We had three courses & the foot was outstanding - delicious & well presented. Will be back very soon

Group of 11, service extremely slow, restaurant was pretty empty. Pain au chocolat were frozen on the inside Some people offered drinks, some people weren’t- didn’t go round whole table. Waiter with boiling tea and coffee leaning over young children to serve adults very dangerous

We went to celebrate two birthdays and they asked us about them when we got there but didn’t receive anything for them, so why bother asking if it’s a special occasion? The service was very slow and we didn’t get a drink until after 45mins of arriving and then we had to ask the waitress Cato take our order. My stepsons steak was cold and he had to send it back & we had to wait ages for our food. For 2 courses we were there for just over two hours!!! Very disappointing!!

New staff so understandably had some issues but they were super friendly & accommodating. Spinach was disappointing compared to what we’ve had in the past here but overall nice evening.

Terrible service, initial drinks order was messed up and then after asking for the dessert menu 3 times from three different people over a 45 min period, I had to go up and get it myself. When the desserts finally arrived our hot drinks did not come at all. When I respectfully informed the manager that this was not acceptable all he could say was the restaurant was very busy today as everyone has come to St Albans for Father’s Day.
