    Food was ok but the he service was a slow and having ask for the bill twice we waited over 45 minutes from the initial request and eventually had to go looking for the server to pay the bill

    I've been numerous times to Cotè Newcastle, the food has always been tasty and well cooked. We had a sharing camembert starter which had 3 pieces of bread with it. The fish pie was good and hubby enjoyed the pork belly.

    The staff were very friendly and attentive. Value for money for restaurant week was fantastic with 3 courses and a drink. Chicken was a little dry, steak a bit fatty but dessert chocolate mousse was delicious.

    3rd visit - outstanding service, wine & food! The waiter remembered us from our last visit which was so lovely. We can’t wait to go back. The staff knowledge on the wine is exceptional too.

    We had the fixed menu which was good value for the price. I think it easily could be outstanding with a couple of embellishments like oil or spread with the charcuterie board or more variety on it such as olives. Salad on the steak frites was virtually none existent but the steak and fries themselves were very tasty and enjoyable. The crepe was also tasty but a little cool.

    I love Cote but if you're unlucky enough to get stuck in the back room, left from the door thetebis no ambience at all.
