Our weekend sharing board combines the finest cuts of meat - Sirloin Steak with peppercorn sauce, Confit Pork Belly with Calvados jus and succulent Grilled Chicken with mushroom sauce. All served with your choice of three sides. Our weekend menu can only be ordered in multiples of two.

Unfortunately, the seagulls appear to be problematic with one of them swooping down and thieving the majority of my steak dish.

Arrived early and greeted by Monica who was so pleasant and friendly without being pushy. She showed us to our table in a quiet location and acknowledged that was our request when booking. Our waitress was then Meghan who was charming and attentive.

Ambience was warm, cosy and a good vibe of chatter and laughter, didn’t feel manic as it was busy. Food was delicious and cremant was bubbly and great too! Service was slow which could be expected however, missing food items and repeat requests to chase up were made, no apology or discount given. By the time frites had arrived, remaining meal was almost eaten or would have gone cold! Numerous requests for drinks and chasing up drinks order made. Wait for a while to pay the bill and felt sad that we were not offered a Mother’s Day gift of truffles as other guests were and we ate from mother day experience- I had to ask for then at exit which was embarrassing but I felt I needed to. Despite booking Mother’s Day for two Mother’s, on my received one card and one chocolate so again had to ask for another. I have been to Côte many times and chose this for Mother’s Day as a valuable customer yet, it was not good enough with the above points. Even when discussed- not even an apology or complimentary drink maybe - or even the frites removed from the bill. Shame!

Really attentive staff and fantastic food. The two trainees on shift were so friendly and lovely, will definitely come back and a big thanks is to them!

We had the set 3 course menu at lunchtime and I recommend this as it was good quality and a good choice. We got our requested seating area booked on line . The service was outstanding. Very very good.Recommend this restaurant.

Good meal and service. Dirty wine glass was a little disappointing covered in lipstick. Other tables not so great - delayed service on the table next to us and an Embarrassing wait on replacement items but all good for us
