The food was not up to the standard that we have previously had there. There seemed to be a slight disagreement between staff which was not done discreetly but in full view of everyone.

Love this restaurant for its good food and great atmosphere, together with friendly service, which can be maybe a tad slow at peak times. It is a vibrant and consequently quite noisy restaurant, so if you are looking for a quiet dinner and conversation, this place is not for you. But us ? We absolutely love it and it would always be our first choice in Exeter for a great night out! Enjoy!!!!

I came into Exeter with a tour group, and we arrived late. I called and was assured that my table would be held for me. When I arrived I was seated immediately. I ordered a filet mignon, potatoes, and a tomato, scallion, and basil salad, plus a glass of house red wine. All were excellent and cooked to perfection.

We returned as our first visit was amazing. Food and service were superb. Again this visit food was really nice and good value for money but the service was unfortunately not as good. Will return though, it hasn’t put us off.

The service is always and I mean always good, however I do feel standard of food is really declining. It does feel that each dish has been pre packed and prepared.
