An absolutely lovely lunch for our sons 35th birthday 🎂 today The restaurant manager was fantastic with a great hands on approach and interacting with our grandchildren who had a lovely time and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you so much we will be back soon x

Table of 8 booked for pre-theatre birthday lunch. Slow taking orders then over an hour wait for main courses to be served. Small children in group. Inattentive staff. We had allowed 2 hours but had to rush out to get to theatre with no time for desserts. Food ok but overall experience not great.

Been many times but this may be the last. I rang to say out bus was running late and we would be late arriving, the lady said she would put it on the system. When we arrived there was no welcome from the Waiter, only you are late and I was going to cancel your booking, I said as called and he said yes, we were only 15 mins late. He never asked if we had allergy’s etc, my friend has many ! Food average to poor When we went to thanks you or good bye from the staff. Very disappointing and may not return.

Really good service and food. The soft drinks are unusually interesting. Our server Tine was excellent

We have eaten here several times. The service and the food is always excellent and we’re yet to be disappointed. Portions a good size, food well cooked and hot. It was busy and so we were directed to a quieter area which was helpful. Would thoroughly recommend eating here.

Extremely disappointed. Had breakfast at Cote, wanted a normal English breakfast same as they served about 5 years ago. However, firstly the menu put us off (who wants harissa haricot beans with their breakfast?). When it arrived the eggs were scrambled (not fried as we asked) so they took back to kitchen. When they came out again with the fried eggs the rest of the breakfast was lukewarm only, and both our sausages were pale and undercooked. We didn’t dare eat them. The meal was greasy, they had no brown toast and the ‘granary’ toast they served was like two very thin slices of baguette. We ate as much as we could (the coffee was good btw) paid, then left. It’s no wonder the restaurant was almost empty at 10-30 on a Saturday morning!

Service excellent Starters fine Lamb main course very tough, and inedible Replacements of different food brought out. No gesture of good will made which would have been nice . Broken glass under my chair
