Our weekend sharing board combines the finest cuts of meat - Sirloin Steak with peppercorn sauce, Confit Pork Belly with Calvados jus and succulent Grilled Chicken with mushroom sauce. All served with your choice of three sides. Our weekend menu can only be ordered in multiples of two.

I don't know where to start, ordered 4 french onion soups, they told us they'd been dropped on the stairs by a waiter, that was the first lie of the evening...what they didn't know and will now find out my husband was on the stairs going to the toilet when they dropped a tray full if steaks etc...not soup and then we had 2 different versions of event, neither match. We have to now order 4 completely different starters, never mind we'll continue to enjoy the evening....oh no no no. That's not going to happen, the mains arrive, 1 sharing steak for 2, correct, 1 bowl of mussells incorrect and 1 pork belly incorrect. Spinach that had been requested as simply sautéed, no cream etc. Wrong. Still we remained polite and sent the 2 incorrect dishes back plus the spinach. The spinach came back brand new fresh sautéed spinach as they promised big mistake, not fresh spinach but drained thinking we wouldn't notice, problem is spinach holds liquid and outcomes a creamy watery liquid, again don't lie to us. 20 minutes later after my husband and myself have finished our main, the other 2 meals turn up. Still with errors. Now we are not the sort to ne rude but come on, still there were mistakes, but we were at a point of giving up. For the record the food was still reasonably good and the poor waiter that the so called supervisor dumped the problem on did his best, in my opinion the supervisor is not fit for the role, hiding away and avoiding contact with us seemed to be his plan. A small discount offered which we took because to be quite frank we had the lost the will.with this restaurant. It was our last night in Canterbury before returning home and what an absolute let down and disappointing way to end the last evening of out holiday. What a shame, we've been to other cote restaurants in the uk and they've been good but this one is letting the brand down at the moment. Hopefully it's a one-off......and a series of unfortunate events that won't be repeated.

Music was too loud, food was underwhelming, portions were small, and dish was missing a key ingredient and had to be requested. Would not go back.

Good atmosphere, good service and good food. The menu offered authentic French options. I liked the Breton fish stew and my wife liked the steak and chips. Here on a visit but otherwise would go again.

Good value for money. Welcoming and helpful staff. My wife's duck was perfect. My fish partenier was a bit heavy on potatoes and lite of fish. Too many prawns and not enough fish or cream sauce making the dish a tad dry.

First time eating at Cote and it didn’t disappoint - very friendly staff and tasty food, especially liked that it didn’t feel rushed and we could enjoy our meal in our own time. The moules frites was a big win with my daughter - we will definitely be back.

This time round we had the fixed price menu which we both enjoyed , the fixed Menu was great value for money and a great choice of the ala carte menu. But we both both said that we would go back to the ala carte menu as the choices walslrř

Great vegetarian options. We’ve had set vegetarian sharing menu. It was so much food for £25 pp. Amazing flavours at really decent price

Food was really good, steaks were cooked just as we asked. Service was very quick and staff very nice. We had a very good lunch experience as a family of 6.

Love the Côte brand, and this venue is a local favourite. Just to be aware, It’s a long hike up the stairs to the toilets! (Disabled on this ground floor though). Look forward to visiting again when the next season’s menu comes along

The menu made me book this place due to the lack of authentic and traditional French restaurants around Canterbury, and this place didn’t disappoint from walking in the place you could of been in Paris with traditional French decor. The waiting staff showed us to our seats and showed the two menus a la carte and prix fixe. We went with the ala carte due to certain meals I already chose and WOW I wasn’t disappointed from starters to desserts the meal was everything I wanted and more. The experience , service and food have left an everlasting memory all for the right reasons. Me and my wife will definitely be returning
