Dinner with a friend, and we both very much enjoyed our main courses (boeuf bourginonne and confit duck) with extra cauliflower cheese. Dessert menu is a bit chocolate-heavy and would prefer a few lighter items.

Overall experience was fine but having no green vegetables available was extremely disappointing for a French restaurant. We are fairly regular customers but this visit was not the best

A table for 12 on a Saturday is difficult for a restaurant to manage. But Cote is the exception. Great table, days and efficient and friendly service from Kitty 😊 and great food. Thank you.

My requested table was not available when I arrived, however, I was offered the table once the previous guests finished their lunch. The seared scallop was heavenly delicious!

French Breton chicken was the best i have tasted in england. Why we cannot get chicken that good of taste here is beyond me. its chicken and chips after all. Many thanks for great meal See you soon Glenn heath

Everything was ok, food wasn’t wow - especially the way it served on a plate. I have expected mush more from the restaurant.

Had avocado on toast with 2 poached eggs, apparently with chilli flakes (I don’t think I had any!). So a rather bland breakfast for me. My wife had smoked salmon & scrambled eggs which was ok.
