Nikko at the host stand made my experience amazing! I was late for my reservation and was frantic when I arrived because it was also my birthday and nothing was going right. He found the next available table and seated my friend and I immediately. Checked on us throughout and made sure we were comfortable. I couldn’t thank him enough for his kindness. The food and drinks were also amazing. Really cool vibe and would definitely go back again.

It was my first visit and it did not disappoint! The cocktails and food were fabulous. The monkey chandeliers in the bar were too.

Had a wonderful time celebrating a friends birthday here. Definitely will recommend going. They really capture what you think dining in a restaurant in Tulum would look, feel and taste like.

Hubby and I went for our first date night in months and we were not disappointed. The service was great and quick. We didn't wait long for anything! Drinks were good, food was good and the restaurant was so pretty. Will be coming back.

This was one of the worst dining experiences we’ve ever had. When we arrived we were not greeted by friendly staff and didn’t feel welcome. We had to wait longer than expected for service. The entire crew seemed to be in disarray. We ordered some appetizers one of which our server forgot about. We were then asked to move to another table because the one we were sitting at was reserved. This didn’t make sense because they were not busy and all the tables around us were empty. When I got up from the table I was not told to watch my step and fell down pretty hard. No manager came to see if I was ok or needed medical attention. We asked our server to cancel our order and asked for our check. He said he had to check with the manager. At this point is when he brought our appetizer that he forgot about a half an hour ago. At this point is when Casey, the manager finally came over and gave us the check and actually charging us for the appetizer that was brought after we canceled it. He didn’t seem to concerned with my fall and just gave an insincere apology. I asked him why there was no signage warning customers of the rather large step. He didn’t know. I explained I was visually impaired and couldn’t see the big step especially in such a dark setting. The only thing Casey offered was to fill out an incident report, are you kidding me! Casey lacks the ability and temperament to be an effective manager to handle such situations. The overall food we did have was disappointing as was the service. We would never patronize Costera again unless serious changes were made.

We were asked to leave and Tony was rude to us. He didn't want to take us a picture. I'll not be back here and do not recommend it. Clients should be treated with respect.
