amazing time at cocina tulum... I've been here a few times for drinks but the food is good.. I recommend 10/10...

For the price, you would expect the food to actually have flavor. Had the Torta de Milanesa and my friend had the shrimp tacos both lackluster. The only good thing was the octopus. Service was abysmal. the appetizer came right away but later on it became clear the waiter had forgotten to input our main course food order. This was not an isolated incident, the table next to us were given the wrong drink order. I was there at 4:00 pm. Place was at 45% capacity. There was no rush of customers to explain the errors in service. Overall, go for vibes, order a drink, take a photo, but thats it. Would not recommend otherwise,

we went for happy hour and we had espressos and margs and we had the salmon tostada, chicharrones, and the guac and the only thing was that the guac needed a lil bit of salt and lime but besides that everything was pretty good, and it was so pretty in there. they played kind of like background music with no words to match the ambiance of the restaurant but after 6 they played better music, i forgot our server's name but she was very attentive and welcoming and she was able to accustom having a prebought set of a candles for our friend's birthday dessert which was a mango sorbet which was really good and fresh, it was the perfect mango flavor and not too sweat. we ended up ordering the churros as well w coffee flavored ice cream and that was also really good! my friends and i are the type of people that like to take pictures lol so we thought we would there but i wouldn't say there's too many options for that just because there's tables everywhere if that's something you were looking for

Definitely a vibe !!! The ambience nice very lively, barley could hear the music Me and my fiancé Went for National margarita day . Food was good especially their house salad. House mango Margarita was 8/10 . Our host Joe was great he was very attentive .

This was my second time here for dinner and a much different experience from the first. The food and drinks were excellent. What wasn’t cool was the staff pushing us to hurry up and finish our food. We were about 45 minutes into our dinner and clearly had 4 dishes that still had food we were working on and no less than 5 different people walked by try to “clear our plates.” They were in this huge rush to get us out the door. It wasn’t until we were asked for the 6th time if we were done, that finally our waitress came over and asked if we wanted another drink. At no point before then had we been asked if we needed anything else, just made to feel we needed to leave. We were so aggravated, I just asked for the check. I get they want to turn over tables, but it was Tuesday night, and we were taking our time. We were no where near their 2 hour max table time. Huge disappointment, as I was raving to my friend from out of town this was the spot.
