It was cute and the service was good, the next day however I did have a severe reaction to the food and or drinks that lasted a few days. It was the only change in my diet and I felt it soon after leaving the restaurant.

Went to celebrate my birthday with some girlies! Love James he is very delightful!! Niko is always a good time!! Stephanie is a sweetheart!! One of my favorite spots in Chicago from food to experience to ambience.

Great food and even better service. We sat on the patio and even with the people walking by and music blasting from the Fulton street market, the vibe at Costera was amazing. Will be going there again!

This was my second time visiting the restaurant and it was very enjoyable until it wasn’t. As my party was leaving the restaurant, we were chased down the street by a hostess telling us we had a balance remaining on our bill. We paid using their QR code which showed the remaining amount to be $0 but we proceeded to walk back in with him. He never had our bill on the screen, I had to show him the bill number and show that everything had been paid from my phone. He sat still searching through his iPad and finally said there was no balance and he apologized. The experience was very embarrassing considering we were the only group of Black people there and my party and I felt confused and humiliated. This incident was enough for me to not make a third visit moving forward.

Food and cocktails were well prepared and tasty. Service was fantastic from every member of the staff. We were celebrating a birthday and every single member said happy birthday—even the bouncer as we were leaving. Such a nice experience.
