Introducing Cornus, a rooftop space in Belgravia, the second restaurant from David O’Connor and Joe Mercer-Nairne of the acclaimed Chelsea restaurant, Medlar.

Chef Gary Foulkes will lead the kitchen, joining from the Michelin-starred Angler to offer a regularly changing menu. Foulkes will lead the kitchen, combining his ingredient-led approach with flavours and techniques encountered on his travels around the world. Foulkes will create an à la carte menu of creative, elevated dishes, grounded in the traditional principles and techniques of French cuisine. The menu will showcase the best of the British and European larder. David will lead the Front of House team alongside Wine Director Melania Battiston.

The portions are tiny for the price paid and there is a little lack of sauce in my opinion.

Surprised at how quiet the restaurant was on a Saturday lunchtime as the reviews have all been amazing. Also we know its sister restaurant is very good having visited in the past so we knew we were in good hands. Food magnificent, service amazing, loved the decor. Brilliant value for money with the set three course lunch at £55.00 . Tipped for a star so get in here whilst you can

You have to conclude that this is a very classy dining experience, The food is delicious and innovative and there is plenty of it. The wine list is huge and full of interest.

A wonderful evening to celebrate our birthdays We all had the tasting menu which is perfectly balanced. A couple of us the wine pairing which work wonderfully.

We were very well looked after, service is top notch. Corkage deal, especially at lunch is good value. Food delicious, portion size a bit variable, sea bass tartare very generous but I could’ve eaten double the amount of the raviolis!
