Cork & Flame can trace its history back to 2004 when Roger Strohl opened The Vineyard Wine Market. After a successful 13 years, The Vineyard has joined forces with Chef Justin Hayes and partners to form a unique combination of fine dining, tapas and wine market, offering customers a single culinary experience. In addition to the fine dining, tapas and wine market, the Cork and Flame hosts wine tastings, wine dinners, and private party events.

From the moment we walked in the door the service at Cork & Flame was excellent! Our cocktails were perfect! The flavors of every dish were also melt in your mouth delicious. However, my halibut entree was slightly over cooked, so not as moist as it could have been. Otherwise, we both enjoyed Cork & Flame very much!

We waited for a while to get food. We were told no French presses were available and I would have to wait. My food came out and the other 3 did not follow. Finally after 10 minutes or more the server informed me I was given someone Shae’s food. It was meant for another table. I then told her my food was cold mainly the eggs. As I was eating off my Plate she said they would remake them for me. She then told me she would take my plate and it would be remade. As I was eating now my food was taken. Seemed really odd. She brought me my same leftovers back to the table minus my sausage. The others got the pasta and their food was served cold as well. My meal cost 2 of us more than $60 with top. Thus was the others first time eating at your restaurant. I had a similar experience on Morhers Day a few years back. Called about it and never heard back from a manager. I really enjoy the restaurant but was embarrassed as to how it was handled this past Sunday.

It was VERY cold in the restaurant and it was very loud. However the food was delicious.

Food took 11/2 hours to come out. Got stuck in basically a hallway at a tiny table…. Ambiance was terrible. Also no potatoes were served with my filet mignon which was listed as part of the plate on the menu

1st time dining. Food was delicious & service was excellent. Amber was wonderful. The deconstructed apple pie was a great share at the end of the meal.

We have dined at Cork & Flame a couple of times but this recent evening was a disappointment. Scallops were served Rare and the cumin spice rub overwhelmed the flavor of the scallop. We requested that they be cooked a little more. The replacements were only slightly better prepared - Med Rare. Not appetizing. Here they charge for bread, OK, but when we requested some additional bread since we were waiting it arrived in time for desert and they charged us again! Not what we’d expect for a dinner for two at $268!

Food was spectacular. My personal preference for the lobster bisque is to have maybe some pieces of lobster. But that’s my only complaint and that’s not even a complaint because it was the best I’ve had. The wine was great. The old fashioned was the best in town. The service was the best. It really makes you reconsider your tip at other establishments (in that this service made even the best chain restaurants look like Golden Corral) Definitely will return. Fantastic job!
