Acclaimed Sicilian Chef Accursio Lota serves up authentic cuisine in a cozy 60's-style Italian trattoria. Voted San Diego's Best Chef five years in a row, and Barilla’s World Pasta Champion, at Cori Trattoria Chef Lota serves up beautifully bold dishes like Agnolotti with Spring Peas and Beef Bone Marrow, and an unbelievably rich Vegan Parmigiana di Melanzane. The menu melds the flavors of Sicily and Italy with the best of fresh, locally-sourced Southern California ingredients, and is matched by a curated wine list and cocktail program that include indigenous, bio-dynamic varietals from all Italy.

The current Spring menu features dishes like Agnolotti with Spring Peas, fava bean, and beef bone marrow, and Cacio e Pepe with sustainably-sourced Petrovich caviar.

Enjoy full-service table seating, grab a place at the marble-topped bar, from which you can watch all the action of your meal being prepared in the open kitchen or just order your meal to enjoy at home with your family.

Cori is proud to present another amazing wine dinners, featuring the renowned Antinori Winery and its brand ambassador and Wine specialist Silvio di Silvio! He will present you 5 wines from the Chianti Classico area, including Chianti Tenuta Tignanello Riserva e Chianti Gran Selezione Badia a Passignano. Chef Accursio and his team have created a unique four course menu to homage the winemaking and cuisine of the region. Silvio will be available since 6pm for anybody who is interested in some extra knowledge and insights about the wines of the dinner. Seating include community table. PAYMENT ($119++) will be collected at the restaurant. Credit Card will be charged only for cancellation with less than 96 hours prior to the event ($25/guest).

Seriously the best Italian food in San Diego. Always have such a great exprience here. Never had a bad meal at Cori and the service is always fantastic also. The Cavatelli was incredible and their aged fermented foccacia you have to get every time.

Our experience at Cori Pastificio Trattoria was terrific. We will be back and we will bring family next time. The terrific Sicilian inspired Italian dishes on the menu feature some you'd expect along with some surprises. All are delicious. We should all support this type of Chef owned and operated intimate restaurant before they disappear to the chain factory restaurants!

There were 5 of us, and we wanted to try something different during this visit to SanDiego. My favorite resturant is Solare, but we thought we would give this place a try since it was highly rated. We were dissapointed. The service was excellent, but the food was underwhelming. Small portions, and nothing that really wowed us. The eggplant, and the chocolate cream brulee were very good, but everything else was just okay. We will be going back to Solare on our next visit.

We joined Cori for their wine and food tour of Italy series. It was wonderfully orchestrated from beginning to end with an overall feel of being at a (large) family gathering. The wine selections guided the evening, with Petra’s selection showcasing some lesser known regional wines. The food was crafted after the wine selections, but also showcasing regional flavors. All in all, it was a great experience with great food and wine, and will join them again.
