We went for the classic tasting menu and loved every part of it, with each dish playing a part in the meal. The service was impeccable, with the staff being very attentive and friendly, whilst also explaining in detail every aspect of a dish. It’s clear that every single person within the restaurant cares deeply about the food and making the experience a memorable one. It is a busy dining room, but I felt that this added to the atmosphere and we felt very comfortable throughout.

Tasting menu of 7 courses. 4 out of 7 were salty. And duck dish tasted it just defrosted not long ago. Signature Apply dessert was fighting taste bud not good. Only 1 last dessert was nice. We were so looking forward to it as we had tasted Chef Clare cooking when she was working in Gordon Ramsey was excellent. But this time we’re disappointed. Plus considered their reservation system contacting restaurant if there’s any issue were a nightmare, they never answer calls, front of house reception was arrogant young lady who doesn’t know what’s hospitality.

Absolutely flawless. I liked the more casual approach, no formal dress code and jackets are not mandatory for gentlemen. I can’t fault the food or service in any way. It is spectacular. The mark up on the wine list is a bit comical.

First time experiencing this stunning restaurant and it did not disappoint! From start to finish there was amazing attention to detail the staff was superb, and it made my visit rememberable. I will be coming back very soon!

This is the third time my wife and I have been to Core. As usual, everything was outstanding. Pricey, yes. But it's a wonderful experience to visit a restaurant where everyone is at the top of their game. Thanks to all.

The food was really lovely but sadly the whole thing felt a bit rushed. I personally like to take my time when having a tasting menu but as soon as one dish was finished the next one was there, it’s like they needed the table back. At the end we asked for cheese and were encouraged to sit in the bar for the cheese and further drinks, which we did do, but no one else sat at our table, so we could have stayed there. All in all we had a lovely time but I don’t see how it was any better than 1 star restaurants I’ve been to.
