Two years since I last went to Core and I will not leave it so long next time. Everything about the place is just perfect. I can think of other excellent places, but this is the best of the best.

Food was delicious, the presentation was outstanding, great service. Unfortunately as our booking was such a late one 21:45 it may have been better for us to have chosen the al a carte menu ( or this to be recommended to us by staff) instead of the tasting menu as we felt rushed between courses. We had the wine pairing and were still finishing the wine when the next course and next wine came out.

We had 2 classic and 2 seasons tasting menus. Each dish was so beautifully prepared and tasted incredible. As each course came out, the waiters took the time to explain all the different elements. We had the privilege of being seated in front of the kitchen and so could see the chefs hard at work as we enjoyed our meal.

Unbelievable experience! Has the most fabulous time here celebrating our wedding anniversary. The food is simply stunning and the wines perfectly matched for the taster menu. The staff made it a wonderful evening and Clare herself was busy in the kitchen and yet took time to say hello and she was welcoming to us. It has a lovely atmosphere too. Simply unmissable.
