Core 450 is an instagrammable destination, to delight all the senses, from breathtaking views to our expansive outdoor patio complete with a full-service open kitchen just north of Travelers Rest, South Carolina.

The restaurant led by owners Matthew and Renee Jennings and Chef Gene Magliaro serves refined, rustic cuisine, innovative libations, and a world class wine list. Known as a “must visit” among the Upstate’s dining scene, Core 450’s professional and passionate team are constantly striving to push the boundaries of excellence with well-rounded menus that feature classic dishes and drinks with contemporary twists rooted in tradition.

Always enjoy meals either lunch or dinner. Food is excellent and our waitress was excellent!

We have had much better meals here....recipes seemed to have been changed. Also my biscuit was not very fresh, was dry and hard like it had been sitting under a light for hours. Will definitely try again and hope that it was just a one time thing.

Steaks were fantastic and the heated salt block is a unique experience. The side dishes, risotto and Mac and cheese lobster were served cold and therefore were not great. Otherwise the flavors of both sides were good.

We had a Foie Gras appetizer that was unrecognizable. The Clams Linguine tasted a bit off. The linguine was actually crunchy…..more than just a little under done. 2 entrees came to the table 10 minutes apart.

Core 450 is our favorite restaurant! We’ve been for special occasions or also just to have brunch, lunch or dinner and they never fail to exceed our expectations! Their food always tastes super fresh and the service is amazing! Also the best mimosas I’ve ever had!!
