Indulge in the finest selection of Caymus Family of wines paired perfectly with a gourmet dinner at Cordova Coastal Chophouse. To complement these great wines, we will be serving a five-course Chef's tasting menu expertly prepared by our head Chef Peter Smith. Always a pleasure dining at Cordova. We love the lounge/bar area as well. Everyone is friendly and always fun with Bo on the piano.

We were really excited about our visit; the hostess and server were wonderful, but we waited an hour and 45 minutes for our food, and the portions were very small for such an expensive meal. The server apologized and did absolutely the right thing by offering us complementary desserts… but it was REALLY long and the vibe was definitely off. Maybe would try again but there are so many options for food in St. Augustine…

The restaurant is beautiful and had lovely live music playing. At first glance it do not appear to be busy upon arriving for an 11:30am brunch. The service, however, is not what would be expected from a property of this caliber. The individual seating us was not welcoming and scrambled to find menus. We had two children with us and were not offered children's menus. To be honest I did not expect them to be given the atmosphere, I was fine ordering for them off the brunch menu but became frustrated when I saw other children seated with children's menus. The service was unbearably slow. We sat at 11:30am and by 1:30pm had to ask for our desserts to go because we needed to depart. The time in between each course took an extensive amount of time, in particular the time we waited for the main course. Once that arrived my ahi tuna was overcooked like it had been sitting under a banquet warmer for some time. The entire meal was dramatically over priced for the food that we received. The three tables that were sat next to us were all sat after us but all received their meals before we did. In one case the table was entirely done with their meal (including desserts) prior to us receiving our entrees. While the server was nice it was obvious that he was flustered because of the wait times. However not once was an apology made regarding the wait time for a restaurant that was at best 1/4 full.

Our server, Christina, was great and the overall service and staff were fantastic. The food was good although the kitchen was backed up during a busy weekend in St. Augustine.

Don't book this restaurant on a major holiday. I'm sure it is fabulous but serving hundreds of dinners at once never goes good.

Everything was fine except for my wife not being able to use the rest room at the end of the meal. The rest room is in the lobby of the hotel which happens to be on a tourist trolly stop. So all these people get off the trolly and go into the lobby of the hotel to use the bathrooms. There was a line of 20 girls in the lobby waiting to use up the one women’s bathroom. We had to walk quickly back to our B&B to get to the bathroom. For that reason alone we would never go back to Cordova nor would we recommend it to anyone. Plus the meals were over expensive

When we booked Open table made us choose whether we wanted the holiday menu or the regular menu. We chose the regular because of food restrictions that the holiday menu did not honor. Needless to say this venue did not honor the regular menu after we were seated for Christmas dinner. We had to leave and our Christmas was ruined.

There is no restrooms in the restaurant, you need to use the bathrooms in the lobby. The lobby was so packed with people, the line was so long, people cutting in line, etc. By the time I returned to my party, they had finished eating and my meal was cold. No water refills, 2 people ordered beef medium, one was rare and one was well done. When you spend over $1,300 on dinner on Christmas Day, you should expect to be able to use the ladies room in a timely manner. Disappointing!
