The decor and space is beautiful and very aesthetically pleasing. The food and coffee were superb. I will absolutely be returning!

Coquette was absolutely wonderful! Food was amazing! Some of the absolute BEST French cuisine I’ve ever had!

Disappointed to learn upon arrival that the patisserie is closed on weekends. Much of what was listed on the brunch menu was unavailable.

Coquette is a French bistro in Uptown next to the Bechtler Art Museum. On our first visit, it was busy early with diners who would later go to a college football game. While we had an early reservation in order to see a play later that evening, we were still seated promptly and began to receive the attention of a very able staff who ably managed the crowded tables. The food was absolutely delicious, from the Coquille St Jacques to the mussels in white wine and the coq au vin. Every server we spoke to was knowledgeable and helpful, and we watched as a variety of servers pitched in regardless of their assigned tables. We will definitely be back.

This was our second but definitely not last visit. We loved the food as much as last time. Our waitress this time was Madison who with her fast, efficient and overall excellent service made our visit really enjoyable.

We enjoyed our snacks and cocktails - the decor is very beautiful, French and refreshing. I don't know if the hostess thinks she is one of the notorious rude Parisian waiters but she certainly acted it. I have never encountered such a miserable person in front of house before - couldn't look you in the eye, couldn't speak more than a mumble and never smiled - don't know what her deal is but she certainly doesn't belong in such a gorgeous and lively environment. The parking was incredibly expensive and the parking voucher they gave us didn't work. Unfortunate

The situation with our hostess has been addressed properly to ensure it will not happen again. We train our staff to be welcoming and provide our guests with a beautiful experience to match our interior. I apologize for the parking pass not working. We do list on our website that we provide discounted parking only at the 400 S Tryon Garage with our voucher. Fabien
