Located in the heart of Uptown Charlotte, Coquette offers the charm of an old-world French buvette with a vibrant, casual atmosphere perfect for any occasion. Whether you’re indulging in a quiet morning with a fresh almond croissant on our patio or savoring an evening apéro, Coquette is the perfect escape. Our menu is complemented by classic French cocktails and a wine list curated by Advanced Sommelier Fabien Boudart.

Discover our monthly wine classes and exclusive wine club, designed for wine enthusiasts and those new to the experience. As owner Jill Marcus shares, “Coquette isn’t just for French cuisine aficionados. It’s for anyone curious and ready to explore the flavors of France.” Join us for lunch Tuesday-Sunday and dinner from Tuesday to Saturday.

Coquette offers an exceptional upscale French dining experience. The dinner was delicious, with a well-curated menu featuring a variety of enticing entrées. While one dish I ordered did not quite live up to my previous experience, the overall quality remained high. The ambiance is elegant and inviting, though I recommend avoiding a table near the bar if you prefer a quieter setting for conversation. Service was superb—our waitress was attentive, knowledgeable, and helpful with menu descriptions and recommendations. It is an excellent dining experience.

This was our first visit to Coquette and the entire experience from our hostess, Kelly who greeted us with professionalism and friendliness , to our sever Laura who was skilled, knowledgeable and very attentive to the personable and very respectful and responsible manager, Michelle. Our food was extraordinary, beautifully plated and served, and arrived hot and in a perfectly timed manner. We will be back. Coquette lives up her name….flirty and charming, fun and exciting and tempting one to return to enjoy for more.

What an amazing evening. The food was incredible and the service was impeccable. Every single detail is well thought out and we could see the general managers/owners working the floor and making certain that every single table felt special. We will definitely be back.

This restaurant is beautifully French in appearance and food. The tilework is elegant and we enjoyed watching the very professional kitchen staff plate our food. The menu is classic French, with some new twists. The salad with Brussel sprouts was excellent and creative, while the tomato torte with delicious savory goat cheese ice cream was memorable. Our helpful and kind server Laura helped us identify these new favorites and encouraged us to try the classic Beef Bourguignon, which was superb. She gave us great advice on our win pairing as well. We will absolutely return to this restaurant, as it was a lovely meal.

We were first-time diners. We had delicious pate, a huge bowl of mussels, and an excellent blue cheese salad. Everything was elegantly served. The decor is lovely and different. Service is terrific. I will return.

My husband celebrated Valentine's by having Sunday brunch! Everything we had was fantastic. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Went for brunch and had quite possibly some of the best food I’ve ever had in my life. Already planning to go back next month for a special occasion. The oeufs coquette was outstanding!!

We dined here on Valentine's weekend...and we were both pleasantly surprised at the level of food quality, ambiance and service. I loved everything about the place...and couldn't believe it took so long for me to check it out! (Well, possibly due to uptown parking situation?). I hope to return soon.
