Brought to you by Award Winning Chef Michael Chiarello and located at Pier 5 on the bustling San Francisco Waterfront, Coqueta is inspired by the cuisines of Spain. Chef Chiarello feels that Spain’s signature ‘small plates’ coupled with the social vibrancy of their dining scene is the perfect combination for San Francisco, which has its own deep-rooted history with the country. Focusing on regional dishes from Madrid, Catalonia, the Basque Country and beyond, the menu will feature Chiarello's interpretation of traditional Spanish cuisine and, as has always been his tradition, will highlight the bounty of fresh, local ingredients from land and sea.

Coqueta means “flirt” or “infatuation” in Spanish, and represents Michael Chiarello and his team’s exploration and interpretation of Spanish Cuisine, wine and inspired cocktails, while highlighting the bounty of Northern California.

Excellent service and excellent food.The steak was underdone and they had no issue fixing that for us. The server and wait staff and kitchen staff were nice and helpful. Food always excellent ! Wine was very good!

A fantastic last minute reservation. The food exceeded our expectations. The 32 oz bistec was worth the cost of entree. The service made the service memorable. A must try when on the Embarcadero!

Coqueta is one of my favorite restaurants in San Francisco, friendly staff they make you feel welcome, their food is amazing, and my favorite the drinks ate the best, this is my 4 time in coqueta and I never been disappointed, this time we were here celebrating my friend bday our server Alan was amazing 5 stars for service. Food and drinks, my friend had the best time and wanted to go back the next day:) and we did we sat at the bar and we had the best time the bartender are the best they know how ti make a good drink not matter what you order you would not be disappointed, big shout out to Gerson , Marlon the best bartender and our waitress Alan they sure are amazing great people!!

We have been eating at Coqueta now for several years, every time we stay in SF. It is always exceptional - we order tapas of all types (except seafood, as we are allergic) and are never disappointed. We have spent time in Spain and Donostia, and this place reminds us of those experiences in many ways. The servers are invariably friendly, and the place is always hopping with a fun vibe. It isn't too loud, however. Definitely recommend for a tapas dinner!

This was my 2nd visit in 2 weeks. I ordered different items. Location, staff, management, drinks and food were all 5 stars! This a wonderful dining experience to share!

Very nice lunch with friends. We shared a Paella, octopus, small bites of sardines, an eggplant dish and cheese plate. Everything was tasty. The service was superior. Our waiter made sure we understood the menu and made helpful suggestions. Highly reccommend.

The food is amazing! Feel like Spain. Paella is delicious. I also love the Salmon, the croquete, the kale salad, the sangria and every thing we tasted. it is perfect for family style. Price is fair for the quality.

Awesome place! It is my first time here and the great food did not disappoint! I love the octopus and the pretty cocktails too. Of course the ambiance is perfect with the very scenic view of the ocean. It is a perfect spot for happy hour and after office hours dinner. What an ideal chill and hang out spot at the Pier! :)

Amazing experience. Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu and made ordering very easy. The food, drinks, service, and environment are all incredible. 10/10 would recommend.
